The Branch Manager is responsible for leading the commercial success and growth of the branch by developing people, winning new SME business, expanding existing client relationships and delivering profitable recruitment solutions. The role is accountable for creating a high-performance sales culture, coaching consultants to maximise productivity and executing the branch business plan to increase market share within the local SME market. The Branch Manager leads through coaching, accountability and execution, ensuring the branch operates as a profitable, customer-focused business while delivering exceptional outcomes for clients, candidates and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities
•    Lead execution of the branch business plan to achieve revenue, profitability and market share growth.
•    Drive acquisition of new SME clients through proactive business development and networking.
•    Grow existing client relationships by increasing share of wallet and identifying new opportunities.
•    Lead weekly sales, pipeline and activity reviews to drive consistent commercial performance.
•    Analyse local market trends and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities.
•    Personally support strategic client meetings and major business opportunities.
•    Build a high-performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration and customer success.
•    Coach consultants through regular one-on-one coaching, field visits and performance reviews.
•    Develop sales capability through structured coaching, training and mentoring.
•    Build future leaders through succession planning and ongoing development.
•    Lead execution of the branch sales strategy, activity plans, sales campaigns and growth initiatives.
•    Ensure consultants maintain healthy pipelines and disciplined CRM management.
•    Monitor key sales metrics including activity, opportunities, conversions and productivity.
•    Build long-term partnerships with SME clients based on trust and exceptional service.
•    Ensure an outstanding experience for clients and candidates throughout the recruitment journey.
•    Resolve complex client issues while strengthening commercial relationships.
•    Act as a visible ambassador for Adecco within the local business community.
•    Manage branch financial performance including revenue, GP, productivity and profitability.
•    Ensure compliance with all legislative, contractual and company requirements.
•    Maintain high standards of CRM hygiene, reporting accuracy and operational discipline.
•    Recruit, onboard and retain high-performing consultants.
•    Champion employee engagement, recognition, wellbeing, branch communication and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:
•    Bachelor's degree in business or a related field
•    Minimum 5 years' recruitment experience with leadership responsibility.
•    Demonstrated success in winning and growing SME clients.
•    Proven ability to lead high-performing recruitment teams.
•    Strong business development, networking and relationship management skills.
•    Experience coaching consultants to improve sales performance and productivity
•    Commercially driven with a passion for winning new business.
