About the role

Job Description Summary:

Work as part of a collaborative, cross-functional engineering team, inclusive of Architecture Principals, Product Managers, Application Development Managers and Engineers. Create and manage test strategies for complex, multi-team, multi-system, multi-technology E2E testing efforts. Lead a team of engineers engaged in running E2E. Assist in hands-on test execution. Work in system and environment analysis, design, and optimization and participate in design reviews. Troubleshoot and remediate issues across multiple technology disciplines and teams. Work with data flow and configuration in order to analyze complex issues. Proactively evaluate risks and provide impact analysis with solutions to mitigate. Assist with onboarding new E2E engineers. Build out system diagrams for core process flows for test planning, trouble shooting and support for future testing. Identify and document process improvement/knowledge documentation. Create JIRA dashboard for managing the E2E projects pipeline and capturing metrics for management reports. Reports to company headquarters in Auburn Hills, MI. Roving employee – will work at various unknown client sites throughout the U.S. for up to 100% of the time. Must be willing to travel anywhere in the U.S. and may be assigned to work at client sites across the U.S.

What you’ll be doing

Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering (any), Computer Science, IT/IS, Operations Management, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Telecommunications, Electrical or Electronics or related field of study and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation in which the required experience was gained. In lieu of a Master’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering (any), Computer Science, IT/IS, Operations Management, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Telecommunications, Electrical or Electronics or related field of study and two (2) years of experience, the employer will also accept a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering (any), Computer Science, IT/IS, Operations Management, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Telecommunications, Electrical or Electronics or related field of study and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation in which the required experience was gained. Must have demonstrated experience with: Testing Skills: Automation Testing, Mobile Testing – Native Apps, Manual-Functional, System, Regression, Sanity, Database or POS; Automation Testing Tools: Selenium, Cucumber, Eclipse Helios or IntelliJ Idea; Mobile Testing Tools: Appium desktop app or Appium Server or Android Studio; Cloud Testing: Sauce Labs; Performance Testing Tools: JMeter; Framework: TestNG or BBD; Version Controlling: Bitbucket, Git or TortoiseSVN; Database Management Tool: SQL Developer; CI Tools: Bamboo; Project Management & Defect Tracking tools: HPQC, Micro Focus ALM, JIRA, Confluence or qTest; Operating Systems: Windows 9 & above or macOS; Languages: C, SQL, Gherkin or Java 8 & above; Other Tools: Edit Plus or JSON; and Methodologies: SDLC-Waterfall, V-Model or Agile-Scrum.

Salary offered for the position is: $120,640.00 - $128,960.00/year.

Primary Work Location:

900 N Squirrel Rd, Suite 300, Auburn Hills, MI 48326. Reports to company headquarters in Auburn Hills, MI. Roving employee – will work at various unknown client sites throughout the U.S. for up to 100% of the time. Must be willing to travel anywhere in the U.S. and may be assigned to work at client sites across the U.S.
