About the role

Job Description Summary:

Perform detailed data analysis and create data models to support supply chain initiatives. Develop and maintain data visualizations using tools such as Tableau, Microsoft Power BI, and Python. Design, develop, and maintain business intelligence reports to provide actionable insights. Utilize pivot tables, data analytics, and business intelligence reporting tools to present data-driven recommendations. Analyze and optimize supply chain processes, including strategic sourcing, accounts payable (AP), and source to pay. Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive continuous improvement. Ensure data integrity and accuracy by implementing and maintaining data governance practices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and enforce data governance policies. Utilize advanced Excel functions and Microsoft Power Query to manipulate and analyze large data sets. Create automated reports and dashboards to streamline data reporting processes. Support strategic sourcing initiatives by analyzing supplier performance and sourcing data. Provide insights to improve supplier selection, contract management, and procurement strategies. Reports to company headquarters in Auburn Hills, MI. Roving employee – will work at various unknown client sites throughout the U.S. for up to 100% of the time. Must be willing to travel anywhere in the U.S. and may be assigned to work at client sites across the U.S.

Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Engineering (any), Computer Science, IT/IS, Operations Management, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Telecommunications, Electrical or Electronics or related field of study and two (2) years of work experience in the job offered or related occupation in which the required experience was gained. In lieu of a Master’s degree in Engineering (any), Computer Science, IT/IS, Operations Management, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Telecommunications, Electrical or Electronics or related field of study and two (2) years of work experience in the job offered or related occupation in which the required experience was gained, the employer will also accept a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (any), Computer Science, IT/IS, Operations Management, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Telecommunications, Electrical or Electronics or related field of study and five (5) years of work experience in the job offered or related occupation in which the required experience was gained. Must have demonstrated experience with: Data modeling, data analytics and data visualization; business intelligence reporting tools (Tableau and Microsoft Power BI); supply chain processes (strategic sourcing, accounts payable and source-to-pay); Excel (pivot tables, Power Query and data visualization); SQL and MS Access; and System Skills: Oracle Cloud, Ivalua, Sirion Labs, Archer, Beeline and Peoplesoft.

Salary offered for the position is: $160,160.00 - $175,000.00/year.

Primary Work Location:

900 N Squirrel Rd, Suite 300, Auburn Hills, MI 48326. Reports to company headquarters in Auburn Hills, MI. Roving employee – will work at various unknown client sites throughout the U.S. for up to 100% of the time. Must be willing to travel anywhere in the U.S. and may be assigned to work at client sites across the U.S.
