About the role

We are looking for an Executive Assistant for the Akkodis Global Business Unit, a key part of The Adecco Group. Akkodis is a global Smart Industry powerhouse that delivers cross-industry expertise in technology to enable digital transformation and accelerate innovation. Their new assistant will play a critical role in assisting with the daily operations. The position is based in Bangalore, and a hybrid work model is being promoted.

The role requires you to provide administrative support to the GSVP. You understand the landscape within a corporate organization and functions of all stakeholders involved. You are solutions-driven, extremely positive and love the idea of working at a fast and demanding pace. Your skillset includes being proactive, bringing a blend of professionalism and flexibility. As a person of trust, you understand the executive’s unspoken needs. This goes hand in hand with managing the agenda, arranging complex travel and processing expense reports in addition to managing your executive’s mailbox.

What you’ll be doing

Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Managing an extremely dynamic calendar; ensuring that all appointments are scheduled based on business priorities, playing the role of a «gatekeeper/gateway» with a helicopter view.
  • Arranging complex international travel (visa, itineraries, etc.), including processing expense reports. Hence, your résumé must reflect that you have collaborated laterally with every level of an organization and have planned travel across different time zones.
  • Managing your executive’s mailbox, composing correspondence and redirecting correspondence as needed.
  • Organizing logistics around workshops and off-sites, booking facilities; managing budgets.
  • Serving as the GSVP's administrative liaison to other departments.
  • Arranging and maintaining files in an efficient manner.
  • Acting as the «barometer» who is in touch with the issues in the business environment and keeping the GSVP updated.

Requirements:

Primary requirements for this role are to:

  • Respect confidentiality.
  • Work independently on your daily projects from conception to completion.
  • Maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities.
  • Quickly grasp correlations and their effects on day-to-day operations.
About you
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or similar with 8+ years of experience in supporting executives in a corporate environment.
  • Ideal industrial background: Technology, IT, Consulting.
  • Business fluent in English.
  • Full proficiency in MS-Office-Suite and collaboration tools, e.g., Teams, SharePoint.
  • Project management qualification desired.
  • Clear and precise communication skills, responding to subtle cues, and reacting with situational appropriateness.
  • Meticulous organizational skills with fierce attention to detail.
  • Used to work in an international environment.
  • You are a self-directed, trustworthy and solution-oriented person and bring positive energy to the company.
