APAC01036The Regional Director is responsible for ensuring all supplier chain activities align to both the regional and global supply chain strategy.
The Regional Director will identify regional vendor partners, strategic suppliers, growth suppliers, analyze market data, identify industry trends, and make best practice recommendations that will best set Supplier Chain in the region for success.
Key responsibilities include remaining informed about industry’s best practices and regulatory requirements, fostering Supplier relationships that will generate growth opportunities for Pontoon sourcing new suppliers, and guiding Supplier Chain representatives to implement country, and regional strategies that align to our global priorities.
The role is accountable for regional deliverables, alignment with the Global Supply Chain Strategy, sharing of best practices, and maintaining effective communication with counterparts in each region and the Supplier Chain team in its entirety.
What you’ll be doingBachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience required.
- At least four (4) years of professional experience, including two (3) years in global MSP roles with documented progressive responsibilities. Experience in MSP, services procurement, or contingent workforce is preferred.
- Demonstrates the ability to thrive within a collaborative, global team environment, contributing to the development and implementation of effective supplier strategies.
- Demonstrates the ability to cultivate supplier relationships that develop into partnerships whereby Pontoon is their number one MSP of choice in the market.
- Effectively influences team members by articulating clear supplier strategies that drive successful outcomes for clients and Pontoon.
- Possesses strong commercial acumen and a deep understanding of both our business and client operations, supported by sound judgment.
- Demonstrates excellent analytical and spend management skills, consistently delivering accurate, professional, and error-free analyses within required timeframes.
- Adopts an action-oriented and consultative approach, proactively following up on feedback to achieve positive results.
- Communicates with clarity and professionalism, both verbally and in writing, when engaging with leadership, client, and supplier stakeholders.
