Pontoon is hiring an Engagement Specialist who reports to the Team Lead or Program Manager of the MSP, providing front-line customer service to internal team members, clients, vendors and users for the various supported Vendor Management Software solutions.
The successful candidate will be accountable for communicating ongoing issues through the appropriate escalation process and providing timely feedback and replies to the end users.
What you’ll be doingThis role manages the end-to-end ‘contractor lifecycle’ from offer acceptance through to onboarding, and all assignment changes in between (commonly known as HR Operations). In addition, this position serves as a contractor care function for in-bound queries as well as a custodian for the Banks’ policies and regulations - such as but not limited to background screening, tenure management and access provisioning.

About youWe want to set you up for success! To help us do that, here is what we are looking for from you:
Required experience
- 2+ years’ experience in HR Operations – either on-site or via a staffing agency, as a minimum:
- Onboarding
- Background screening
- Assignment Amendments
- Responding to HR Tickets
- Offboarding
- Working knowledge of relevant 3rdparty employment regulations, HR checks / processes and passing annual audits
Desirable experience
- Meet and exceed relevant SLA’s with ‘right first time’ mindset and predictable results.
- VMS experience – Fieldglass, Beeline, Wand etc.
- HRIS experience – Oracle, Workday, SuccessFactors etc.
- Banking, Financial Services or other services-based MNC experience including knowledge or PRO work and processes
Skills
- Exceptional customer service, written/verbal communication and stakeholder management skills
- Intermediate MS Excel
Education / Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, or higher
