NE03746We’re looking for experienced Recruitment Team Leader’s to support a major Armed Forces recruitment programme.
In this role, you will lead a high-performing team responsible for delivering a seamless candidate journey from application through to onboarding into careers within the UK’s Armed Forces. You will oversee daily team operations, ensuring performance meets SLAs through data-driven decision making, while maintaining compliance and best practice across all processes.
You’ll act as the first point of contact for candidate escalations and play a key role in driving efficiency and service excellence using the PERFORM methodology.
This is a fast-paced leadership position where strong people management, analytical thinking, and continuous improvement are essential.

Your role will include:
- Managing and developing a high-performing recruitment team through 1:1s, coaching, and performance reviews
- Overseeing daily team operations and workload allocation
- Monitoring team performance against KPIs and SLAs using data and metrics
- Handling candidate escalations and ensuring timely resolution
- Ensuring compliance with governance and contractual standards
- Conducting regular KPI and productivity review
- Driving continuous improvement using PERFORM methodologies
- Supporting internal leadership meetings and stakeholder engagement

- Improving end-to-end recruitment processes

What you’ll bring
We have several roles and are interested in a mixture of backgrounds which could include:
- Line Managing a high-volume recruitment or TA team
- Line Managing a recruitment or TA team with a focus on digital candidate assessment (high volume video interview scoring)
- Line Managing a careers advisory team (could be in the public sector, government, or education space)
- Line Managing a team within the Armed Forces
What you’ll need
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proven leadership experience managing high-performing teams
- Track record of delivering against KPIs and SLAs using data and insights
- Ability to prioritise and manage high volumes of activity
- Knowledge of end-to-end candidate journey and best practices

Additional information
To be eligible you must have unrestricted UK right and will be subject to background checks and compliance screening.
Your Recruitment team may cover shift work from 7AM – 7PM Monday to Friday. It would not be an expectation to cover the same office hours every day, but we need some flexibility around shift work to cover escalations and other operational needs.
