About the role

Salary: £22-£25,956 (+ bonus)

Location: Birmingham

Hybrid: 3 days in the office, 2 days WFH

The Talent Hub will become a central resource for Adecco’s national branch network, and we require a Talent Consultant to support the team in qualifying candidates across various sectors of our business – we establish robust talent pools of relevant candidates, for our customer’s needs.

Utilising contemporary, innovative sourcing techniques, with the best technology available, and maintaining candidate engagement, this role requires a key eye for detail, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to meet set targets and expectations; alongside an incredible investment to build YOU into the best Talent Consultant.

The role is critical to the overall success of the business, ensuring the ability to act swiftly to any customer requirements.

What you'll be doing

    • High Volume Sourcing – finding the niche talent for specific business sectors within high-demand settings, with the best AI tools
    • Sourcing Technologies and Techniques – employ diverse sourcing methodologies including advertising, job board searches, re-connecting with dormant candidates, creating, and managing LinkedIn groups and executing headhunting strategies. You will be equipped with the best technologies to perform your job to the highest standard(Sales Force)
    • Candidate Qualification – conduct comprehensive registration interviews to vet candidates, RTW checks and references, making sure candidates are audit compliant
    • Database – Input all registered candidates into Sales Force, organising CV formats, interviewing notes and scheduling and organising call lists
    • Support Sales Consultants – assist in CV screening, offer hot candidate profiles, and liaise with hiring managers
    • Candidate engagement – manage candidate call lists to maintain ongoing communication, foster a positive relationship throughout the recruitment process
About you

Ideally, you have a customer service background, however what we’re looking for is someone with the ability to take ownership and control our candidate screening process – you will develop and grow your knowledge of niche markets, and you’ll be confident in sourcing relevant talent through different sourcing methods. Below are some of the skills that will enable you to hit the ground running in this role:

  • Confidence – you must be happy to be on the phone, make calls and be competent talking to people. We are open to anyone who is eager to learn and thrive as the team expands and is ready to commit to long-term growth and success in high-level recruitment
  • Communication – strong interpersonal and communication abilities to establish rapport, conduct interviews and extract key information from candidates
  • Tech –strong desire to adapt technology including AI to improve results and drive efficiency
  • Inquisitive – curiosity-driven to uncover candidate information in the screening process
  • Performance-driven – comfortable working to targets, driven to meet and exceed them alongside the ambition to develop yourself within the business
