LAT00114For a hybrid position based in Bogotá, Colombia, we are seeking an IT Procurement Manager to support global sourcing and procurement activities across Information Technology categories. This role reports to the Senior Director, Procurement & Real Estate North America and sits within the Procurement & Real Estate department. The position focuses on software, SaaS, cloud services, infrastructure, cybersecurity, consulting and managed services, and emerging technologies. The manager will work closely with ITD, Technology and Services Category Managers, Finance, Legal, Security, and business stakeholders to optimize spend, reduce risk, improve supplier performance, and support business value through strategic sourcing. The role includes Business Partnering with ITD, lead negotiations, including global agreements, managing key suppliers, and supporting digital transformation initiatives while maintaining compliance with procurement policies and governance standards.
What you’ll be doing• Develop and maintain sourcing strategies for ITD while managing a prioritized 12-month sourcing pipeline.
• Manage strategic relationships and perform commercial contract management as necessary with global technology suppliers across software, cloud, telecom, infrastructure, and consulting categories.
• Monitor IT spend, contract renewal results, and supplier performance using KPIs, business reviews, and risk assessments.
• Lead end-to-end sourcing initiatives, including requirements gathering, market analysis, RFI/RFP management, supplier evaluation, negotiation, and contract award.
• Partner with Legal, Security, Privacy, Risk, Finance, and IT Business Partners to ensure appropriate contractual protections and compliant sourcing decisions.
• Support consolidation and simplification of IT sourcing to reduce procurement transactions and time to contract.
• Conduct spend analysis and market intelligence reviews to identify savings, consolidation, and innovation opportunities.
• Act as an escalation point for operational contract interpretation issues and pre-legal contract disputes.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and procurement transformation initiatives related to technology spend.
• Maintain audit-ready sourcing and contract documentation while ensuring adherence to company procurement policies and governance requirements.
About you- 7–10+ years of IT procurement, strategic sourcing, category management, or vendor management experience.
- Experience in working with global suppliers like Microsoft, Salesforce, SAP and Service Integrators like Accenture, Infosys etc.
- Proven experience leading global or multi-regional sourcing initiatives.
- Advanced negotiation and contract management expertise in complex technology environments.
- Strong understanding of Information Technology sourcing, supplier relationship management, and category management methodologies.
- Financial analysis and cost modeling skills for savings delivery and value creation.
- Ability to influence executive stakeholders without direct authority.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and project management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience supporting digital transformation initiatives, ERP systems, or technology modernization projects is preferred.
- MBA, CPSM, CIPS, or equivalent professional certification is preferred.
