About the role

Senior Contract Consultant

Onsite | Cambridge University Press & Assessment | Exam Logistics & Warehouse Operations

Looking for a role where your work genuinely makes a difference?

Cambridge University Press & Assessment delivers examinations for thousands of students every year, and behind every successful exam period is a highly efficient logistics operation ensuring examination papers and confidential materials are handled securely, accurately and on time.

We're looking for an experienced and driven Senior Contract Consultant to take ownership of the recruitment and management of a large temporary workforce supporting this critical operation.

This is a fully onsite role based within the warehouse and logistics environment, giving you the opportunity to work closely with operational teams, candidates and stakeholders to make an immediate impact every day.

The Opportunity

This isn't your typical recruitment role.

You'll be at the heart of a fast-paced operation, responsible for attracting, onboarding and supporting temporary workers who play a vital role in the secure handling of examination papers and associated documentation.

From workforce planning and compliance management to candidate engagement and client partnership, you'll be the trusted recruitment expert ensuring the operation has the right people in the right place at the right time.

What you’ll be doing
  • Managing end-to-end recruitment campaigns for temporary workers.
  • Supporting workforce planning for peak operational periods and responding flexibly to the seasonal demands of the account.
  • Providing recruitment and account support across other education MSP clients during quieter periods.
  • Aligning working patterns with client operational requirements during peak periods, including early starts from 6:00am when required.
  • Conducting interviews, onboarding and compliance checks.
  • Acting as the first point of contact for all onsite associates.
  • Building strong relationships with client stakeholders and operational managers.
  • Monitoring attendance, performance and workforce engagement.
  • Managing payroll processes and resolving worker queries.
  • Delivering an exceptional experience for both candidates and the client.
  • Driving continuous improvement and identifying opportunities to enhance service delivery.

About you

We're keen to hear from people who:

  • Have recruitment, HR, account delivery or workforce planning experience.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced operational environment.
  • Enjoy building strong relationships and influencing stakeholders.
  • Have exceptional organisational and communication skills.
  • Are highly detail-oriented with a strong focus on compliance.
  • Take ownership and pride in delivering exceptional results.
  • Are proactive, resilient and enjoy solving problems.
