About the role

The HR Partner provides operational HR support to employees and managers across the full employee lifecycle. Acting as the primary local HR contact, the role ensures the effective delivery of HR processes and employee services while supporting compliance with local labor regulations and company policies.

Working closely with the local HR team and Business HR, the HR Partner coordinates and executes a broad range of HR activities including onboarding, employee administration, employee relations, HR systems updates, reporting, payroll coordination, talent processes, and employee experience initiatives.

This role is highly operational and hands-on, requiring strong organizational skills, excellent employee service orientation, and the ability to manage a wide variety of HR matters in a dynamic environment.

What you’ll be doing

Employee Support and HR Operations

  • Serve as the first point of contact for employees and managers on day-to-day HR matters.
  • Respond to employee inquiries related to policies, procedures, benefits, leave, payroll coordination, and employment matters.
  • Provide guidance and support throughout the employee lifecycle.
  • Ensure a positive employee experience through timely and effective HR support.

Onboarding and Employee Lifecycle Management

  • Coordinate onboarding activities for new hires.
  • Facilitate employee inductions and orientation activities.
  • Manage employee documentation throughout the employment lifecycle.
  • Support transfers, promotions, organizational changes, and offboarding processes.
  • Ensure all employee records are maintained accurately and in a timely manner.

Personnel Administration

  • Maintain employee files and HR records in compliance with company requirements and local legislation.
  • Prepare HR documentation including employment-related letters and administrative documentation.
  • Ensure employee data is accurately maintained within HR systems.
  • Coordinate document collection and validation for employment administration purposes.

Payroll and Benefits Coordination

  • Coordinate payroll input and employee data changes with payroll providers and relevant stakeholders.
  • Validate employee data impacting payroll processing.
  • Support employees with payroll-related inquiries and issue resolution.
  • Assist in the administration of employee benefits programs.

Employee Relations

  • Support the resolution of employee issues and workplace concerns.
  • Assist managers in handling routine employee relations matters.
  • Escalate sensitive or high-risk cases to the local HR Manager and Group HR when appropriate.
  • Support disciplinary, grievance, and employee communication processes as required.

HR Systems and Data Management

  • Maintain accurate employee information within HR systems.
  • Support data quality initiatives and system updates.
  • Generate regular HR reports and employee data extracts.
  • Monitor and track key HR metrics and workforce information.

Compliance and Policy Administration

  • Ensure HR processes are implemented in accordance with local labor legislation and company policies.
  • Support compliance audits and documentation reviews.
  • Monitor adherence to mandatory HR processes and employment requirements.
  • Escalate compliance risks or gaps when identified.

Performance Management and Development Support

  • Support the administration of learning and development initiatives.
  • Track participation and completion of mandatory training programs.
  • Assist with talent and performance management processes.

HR Projects and Continuous Improvement

  • Participate in local and global HR projects.
  • Support process improvements and standardization initiatives.
  • Contribute to the implementation of new HR tools, policies, and programs.
  • Identify opportunities to improve employee service delivery and HR efficiency.
About you
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, Management, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of progressive HR experience.
  • Experience in HR operations, employee administration, or HR generalist roles.
  • Experience supporting employees across multiple HR disciplines.
  • Experience working within a multinational and matrix environment preferred.
  • Experience supporting a growing business or newly established entity is an advantage.
  • Fluency in French, English and Arabic is a must.
  • Knowledge of local employment legislation and HR practices.
  • Understanding of HR operations and employee lifecycle processes.
  • Experience with HRIS systems and employee data management.
  • Knowledge of payroll administration processes.
  • HR reporting and data analysis skills.
  • Strong administrative and process management capabilities.
