The People Operations Coordinator is responsible for managing and optimizing HR processes within a shared services environment. This role ensures efficient and effective HR service delivery, compliance with policies and regulations, and supports various HR functions including employee onboarding (including background checks), offboarding, payroll, benefits administration, and HRIS management.
What you’ll be doing- People Operations Support: Act as the initial point of contact for processing employee and manager case transactions related to HR policies, benefits, and systems, ensuring a positive employee experience by answering questions and resolving issues promptly and professionally. Partner with Centers of Excellence (such as Benefits, Payroll, Talent Acquisition, Technology), assisting with company initiatives, HR organizational goals, and escalation/priority requests.
- Employee Lifecycle Management: Manage end-to-end employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, offboarding, transfers, one-time payments, annual rewards cycle & benefits administration.
- Data Management and Reporting: Maintain accurate employee records (which may include mass data uploads), conduct periodic audits to ensure data integrity, and manage system role alignments in the HRIS. Generate and analyze HR reports to support decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Compliance: Monitor and maintain compliance with local labor laws, company policies, data privacy, and employment regulations. Support audit processes and ensure adherence to regulations. Also support for the Annual Compliance training cycle.
- Quality Assurance: Perform monthly or ad-hoc quality reviews and report findings to leadership. Propose and track process improvement opportunities identified through quality reviews.
- User Acceptance Testing: Provide support for User Acceptance Testing (UAT) related to HR technology enhancements and HR operation initiatives.
- Process Documentation: Update and maintain process documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance. Identify opportunities to streamline and automate HR processes.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in People operations in a shared services organization or a similar role. An associate or bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, or related field are accepted in lieu of experience.
- Experience with HR tools and systems (e.g., Workday, ServiceNow, Kronos/ADP, SAP, etc.).
- Solid understanding of HR processes and requirements.
- Familiarity with regional labor law requirements.
- Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of additional languages (e.g., French, Hebrew, German, Mandarin, Spanish) is a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Familiarity with HR, payroll, talent acquisition, and/or benefits administration.
- Comfortable to work at day or night shift
- Open to work on a 12-month fixed term contract
