Business Manager Life Sciences

AsBusiness Manager (BM), you will be in charge of developing a perimeter in life sciences, within Akkodis BE to extend our growth in Belgium.

Your role :

Will contain 3 different aspects:

Business Management

You will be responsible for bothaccount managementof existing clients as well asnew business development.

• Be responsible for the development and account management of a portfolio of existing clients;
• Contact prospects for qualification and generating new business;
• Understand our customer and prospect need to elaborate, alone or in cooperation with the Bid Team, the best offer.
• Negotiate conditions of collaboration and proposals with our customers, manage sales contracts;
• Attend networking events to stay aware of the latest trends in the industry & digital worlds.

Recruitment of the best talents

To select the best profiles for our offer:

• You will participate and attendcandidate interviewsto qualify candidates on both your opportunity and the Akkodis standards of excellence
• Participate to recruitment effort in sourcing the right profiles when necessary
• Attend punctuallyrecruitment events(job fairs, inhouse events...) together with our Talent Acquisition Team (recruiters)

People management

As Business Manager, you will be responsible to manage the consultants working on our customer's premises our in our offices for our customers. This includes being inregular contact with your consultant teamsto guarantee a strong relationship, attending their needs and answering their requests when needed. This also includes:

• Carrying out regularproject follow-upswith both our consultants & customers to keep track on the project status and under the challenges ahead
• Performingyearly evaluationfor your team of consultants

• You hold a Master’s degree in Economics, Business Management or equivalent
• You have a first professional experience in a Consulting company or in the industry with at least sales and recruitment tasks
• You have excellent command ofEnglishANDFrench and/or Dutch(English is the main working language at Akkodis but our People are mainly Dutch or French speakers)
• You are team player, solution oriented, challenger and customer focus
• You are eager to learn and perform and you are result-driven
• You have good communication skills and knows how to adapt quickly to different situation and interlocutors
