The Opportunity
We are seeking a Finance Analyst / Senior Finance Analyst to join our growing finance team. This role is ideal for a finance professional with 3–5 years of experience who is passionate about financial planning, performance analysis, and business partnering, while maintaining a solid foundation in accounting and reporting.
You will work closely with business leaders and regional stakeholders to provide financial insights, support strategic decision-making, drive forecasting and budgeting processes, and enhance financial performance. Candidates with an accounting background who have gained exposure to FP&A activities and are looking to develop their commercial finance career are highly encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Analysis
·Support the annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-range planning processes.
·Prepare monthly financial performance reports, variance analysis, and management presentations for business and finance leadership.
·Analyze revenue, costs, margins, and key business drivers to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
·Monitor business performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying risks and opportunities.
·Develop financial models and scenario analyses to support strategic initiatives, business cases, and investment decisions.
·Partner with business stakeholders to understand operational performance and provide financial guidance.
Finance Business Partnering
·Collaborate closely with department heads and cross-functional teams to support commercial and operational decision-making.
·Translate financial data into meaningful business insights for non-finance stakeholders.
·Challenge assumptions, identify performance improvement opportunities, and support cost optimization initiatives.
·Participate in regular business reviews and performance discussions with key stakeholders.
Accounting & Reporting
·Support the month-end close process, including review of actual results, accruals, and financial reporting.
·Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with group policies and accounting standards (IFRS/HKFRS).
·Partner with the accounting team to understand financial results and explain key variances.
·Support balance sheet reviews and ensure data integrity for management reporting purposes.
·Assist with statutory audits, tax reporting, and compliance activities when required.
Process Improvement & Projects
·Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes, financial controls, and data quality.
·Support finance transformation initiatives, including system enhancements, automation, and reporting optimization.
·Contribute to ad-hoc analysis, special projects, and business initiatives as assigned by management.
·Collaborate cross‑functionally to resolve operational accounting matters and implement policy updates in line with group standards.
·Support ad‑hoc assignments and projects as directed by management (e.g., system enhancements, process automation, new business initiatives).
About You
·Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
·Professional qualification (HKICPA / ACCA or equivalent) preferred (but not necessary).
·3–5 years of experience in FP&A, commercial finance, finance business partnering, accounting, or a combination of these areas.; Big 4 / audit training a plus.
·Solid knowledge of IFRS/HKFRS, tax accounting basics, and statutory reporting requirements.
·Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail; able to manage competing deadlines under pressure.
·Looking to transition into a more commercially focused FP&A / Finance Business Partnering career path.
·Comfortable balancing both accounting fundamentals and forward-looking financial analysis responsibilities.
·Effective communicator; excellent written and spoken English and Cantonese.
·Collaborative team player who embraces change and continuously improves processes.
·Immediately available is preferred.
