Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Management Officer for Communications, supporting our Global Communications team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, international environment and excels at orchestrating complex projects across global and local teams. The role combines strong coordination and governance responsibilities with strategic exposure, including supporting project excellence for communications, preparing high-impact presentations, and contributing to reputation and crisis communication efforts.

You will be a trusted sparring partner, driving operational efficiency, enabling decision-making at leadership level and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Project Management & Governance Excellence (Core Focus)

  • Ensure excellence in project management across global and local communications teams, acting as a central interface and coordination hub (e.g., Editorial Committee, Asana).

  • Manage end-to-end communications workflows, including timelines, dependencies, stakeholder alignment and execution oversight across regions and functions.

  • Drive consistency within the communications team for the implementation of communication materials and global initiatives in close collaboration with related teams.

  • Establish and maintain governance structures, including meeting cadences, agendas, documentation and follow-ups.

  • Coordinate cross-functional and international stakeholders, ensuring transparency and effective information flow.

  • Ensure high-quality execution of strategic communications projects within defined timelines.

Performance Management, OKRs & Data-Driven Decision Making

  • Support the definition and implementation of OKRs (Objectives & Key Results) for the global communications function and respective countries, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

  • Develop and maintain KPI frameworks to measure the effectiveness and impact of communications activities across regions and channels.

  • Analyze performance data and translate insights into clear, actionable recommendations for leadership.

  • Create executive-level dashboards and reports to support performance steering and informed decision-making.

  • Identify optimization opportunities and support continuous improvement of processes, campaigns and resource allocation.

Executive Support, Stakeholder Alignment & Operational Delivery (max. 20% of the role)

  • Act as a trusted Executive Assistant to the Head of Communications, ensuring seamless management of agenda, priorities and day-to-day coordination.

  • Own logistics and coordination for key meetings, leadership interactions and strategic initiatives, ensuring efficient preparation, execution and follow-up.

  • Prepare high-impact executive presentations, briefings and supporting materials, reputation management and strategic communications.

  • Translate complex business and technical topics into clear, structured and executive-ready content.

  • Serve as a central coordination point across global and local stakeholders, ensuring alignment, efficient communication and high-quality deliverables.

  • Enable leadership decision-making through structured meeting governance, clear documentation and proactive follow-ups.

  • Maintain strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy, consistency and adherence to governance, approval processes and confidentiality standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Overall 7+ Years of experience with minimum 4 years’ relevant experience in project management or communications-related roles, with a strong track record of managing complex projects, deadlines and international stakeholders.

  • Strong analytical mindset with experience in defining and tracking KPIs, working with OKRs and translating data into actionable insights.

  • Languages: Fluency in spoken and written English (mandatory).

  • Experience working in or with communications, media, design, marketing, journalism, linguistics or similar.

  • Experience working in an international corporate environment.

  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 (especially PowerPoint and Excel) and with project management and collaboration tools (e.g., Asana).

  • Comfortable using AI-enabled tools and interested in applying new technology to improve content creation and communication outcomes.

  • Should be flexible to work in UK timings.
