Procurement – Operational Buyer

Mission

We are looking to strengthen our team by hiring multiple Operational Buyers as soon as possible.

We seek dedicated and structured Operational Buyers with solid experience of 3 to 5 years in the SAP-MM module.

In this role, you will be responsible for the timely procurement of materials and services. You will act as a liaison between internal departments and external suppliers, contributing to the smooth execution of projects and internal processes.

Roles & Responsibilities

Review purchase requisitions in SAP-MM

Check if need is available in an E-catalogue or if there is another, strategic supplier for this need

Creation of purchase orders in SAP-MM with standard contract templates

Follow up on order confirmations

     Verify and follow up, that the supplier sends the signed order confirmation

     Maintain purchasing master data and monitor data quality in SAP

     Regularly update and maintain purchasing master data in SAP to ensure accuracy and completeness, while conducting          periodic audits to monitor data quality and rectify any discrepancies

      Ensure compliance with internal and legal requirements

      Ensuring compliance with various ISO standards related to IT security, aerospace, data protection, etc

Adjustment of orders in quantity or price after approval from the accounting department

On boarding should be completed each month.

Experience in Global Procurement environment is preferable

Education

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
