This is a critical role in driving our ambition for growth. The Director of Communications is to create a consistent clear internal and external communication strategy. As part of the external plan to create compelling whitepapers and where possible thought leadership to raise the profile of our brand, and to become to leading industry MSP, Services Procurement provider.
What you’ll be doingGENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Devise and implement a comprehensive internal communication plan that drives our company narrative, aligned to our ambition for growth.
· Deliver consistent messaging, aligned to audience, delivered through various internal channels.
· Develop key strategic messaging for the President, leading Town Halls, including content and set up, while supporting and working closely with SLT.
· Manage, evaluate, and evolve all internal communications such as intranet, Viva Engage, newsletters, and emails.
· Oversee creation of high-impact, insightful content. Assess the success of each campaign.
· Conduct research internally to use in content creation.
· Develop and implement an external communications strategy for Pontoon aligned to company objectives.
· Drive proactive and reactive media relations program across Europe and globally, raising profile of Pontoon brand.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with key media contacts.
· Measure and analyze effectives of thought leadership initiatives, leveraging data to refine strategy and continuously improve performance including MQL’s, social followers, and media coverage.
· Lead, manage, and execute internal events.
· Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
About youEDUCATION & JOB REQUIREMENTS:
· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
· 10+ years in a marketing or content creation field, with a focus on thought leadership or content marketing.
· Experience with internal communications and navigating complex media landscapes.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
· Skilled in communicating effectively verbally and in writing.
· Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
· Committed to delivering outstanding results and exceeding expectations in all communication initiatives.
· Energetic, proactive, and adaptable, with a passion for advancing Pontoon and the Group’s mission and vision.
· Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, content strategy, and brand positioning.
· Strong understanding of brand guidelines and their application.
· Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, derive insights, and adapt strategies accordingly.
· Proficient with Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

The anticipated salary range for this position is between $100,000 and $110,000. Salary may be determined based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. This position participates in Pontoon’s incentive program which also includes bonus eligibility.
Benefit offerings for full-time employment include medical, dental, vision, term life and AD&D insurance, short-term and long-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, commuter benefits, wellness plans, and a 401k plan or a non-qualified deferred compensation plan. Available paid leave includes Personal Time Off (PTO) on an accrual basis up to 152 hours a year, 10 Paid Holidays, 1 Community Service Day, and up to 6 weeks of Paid Parental Leave. PTO and holiday hours are prorated based on hire date within the calendar year.
