The Lead Recruitment Coordinator supervises the work of two or more full-time employees with a focus on meeting and/or exceeding performance expectations as identified by Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and ensuring a positive and efficient experience for prospective candidates.
What you’ll be doingGENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervises employees and assists with making personal and professional development decisions.
Identifies performance goals, analyzes performance metrics and assesses team member performance; coaches team members and shares feedback for development with management.
Serves as the first point of contact for employee relations issues and escalates to management as necessary.
Oversees adherence to standard operating procedures and best practices and ensures compliance, process and quality consistency.
Initiates requisitions and/or assists with facilitating appropriate approvals for requisitions.
Oversees the scheduling of or schedules candidates for telephone and/or face-to-face interviews and orientations.
Oversees the administration of or administers electronic candidate assessments and pre-screens candidates according to identified qualification standards.
Oversees and/or performs the entry and tracking of candidate data in various electronic systems and runs standard reports as required.
Oversees the administration of or administers pre-employment activities, including, but not limited to, coordinating forms, applications, offer letters and expense reports, drug testing, background and reference checks, and security clearance validation.
Oversees the coordination of or coordinates the preparation of and/or assists with the distribution of new hire informational packets.
Oversees and/or audits the maintenance of candidate files to ensure required records are completed and entered into the appropriate electronic systems.
Fields complex inquiries from candidates and hiring managers; escalates inquiries to senior team members and/or management as necessary.
Oversees the coordination of or assists with coordinating logistics for recruiting events, such as job fairs, open houses, and invitation-only events.
Identifies areas of potential optimization, makes recommendations, and assists with developing and implementing solutions.
Trains and provides guidance on industry best practices, as well as client-specific needs and expectations, to less experienced team members.
Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
About youEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of five (5) years of related administrative support experience; or equivalent combination of post high school education and experience.
Previous leadership experience, as well as experience utilizing Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and/or Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) is preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Skilled in communicating effectively verbally and in writing.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
Skilled in preparing clear and concise documents, including, but not limited to reports, correspondences, and other written materials.
Ability to prioritize, organize and perform multiple work assignments simultaneously while meeting assigned deadlines.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle highly sensitive/confidential information.
Ability to function effectively with or as part of a team.
Ability to perform accurately in a detail oriented environment.
Ability to demonstrate effective customer services skills.
Ability to develop, improve and streamline processes to meet established goals and objectives.
Ability to effectively manage projects that may vary in nature and scope.
Ability to manage conflict and demonstrate the courage to challenge organizational thinking and the status quo.
Ability to understand, interpret and apply related federal, state, and local laws, rules and regulations.
Knowledge of and the ability to demonstrate effective office practices and etiquette.
Advanced proficiency with electronic recruiting and sourcing resources, such as customer relationship management (CRM) tools, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and job boards.
Proficient with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

The anticipated salary range for this position is between $50,000 - $65,000. Salary may be determined based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. This position participates in Pontoon’s incentive program which also includes bonus eligibility.
Benefit offerings for full-time employment include medical, dental, vision, term life and AD&D insurance, short-term and long-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, commuter benefits, wellness plans, and a 401k plan or a non-qualified deferred compensation plan. Available paid leave includes Personal Time Off (PTO) on an accrual basis up to 152 hours a year, 10 Paid Holidays, 1 Community Service Day, and up to 6 weeks of Paid Parental Leave. PTO and holiday hours are prorated based on hire date within the calendar year.
