The Branch Operations Specialist (BOS) position requires an employee to perform all functions necessary to successfully maintain branch operations by:
- Generate consultant new hire paperwork (including contracts) and ensure proper/timely completion. Maintain personnel e-files including I-9 Form and client specific documents/forms.
- Ensure that e-Verify is completed in compliance with Akkodis/Adecco policies.
- Ensure that consultant drug, background, and credit checks are performed in compliance with our client contract agreements and Akkodis policy.
- Evaluate and escalate, client and/or consultant issues to leadership team in timely and appropriate manner.
- Partner with Business Development Managers, Market Director, and corporate functions to ensure client contracts and compliance is in order.
- Ensure initial placement, payroll, and billing data are submitted accurately and timely.
- Assist consultants with payroll, paperwork, and access to necessary applications.
- Ensuring all associate timesheets are submitted on time weekly.
- Liaison with corporate departments relating to branch functions. HR, Accounts Payable, Billing, Payroll
- Assist in training Market colleagues in the operational aspects of the onboarding and associate care processes.
- Communicate new and current policies and procedures to the branch staff employees and consultants.
- Ensure timely communication by responding to all emails/phone calls. Adhere to all SLA’s that relate to onboarding and troubleshooting organizational procedures and processes.
- Partner with corporate teammates regarding invoicing and payments.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Multi-tasking mindset with ability to move from one project to another with ease
- Audit I-9 forms and client documents for accuracy and timely delivery to meet SLAs
- Ability to work under pressure and within an ever changing and developing professional environment
- Must be a strategic thinker with ability to adjust priorities to fit account/branch needs
- All other operational duties as assigned by Manager or Market Director
- Hybrid role – 3 days in office minimum
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE & OTHER POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or equivalent; College degree preferred
- 1-2 years of experience performing an administrative function, preferably including payroll, financial, and/or HR tasks.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications - Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Impeccable ability to stay organized and communicate in a timely manner with internal teammates, consultants, and clients.
- Ability to apply time management skills in order to prioritize tasks throughout the day and week.
- Knack for approaching situations and tasks with a solutions-oriented mindset.
- Natural ability to apply a high level of attention to detail to administrative duties.
