About the role

The Talent Scout, under minimal supervision partners directly with Recruiters and/or Hiring Managers to deliver qualified candidates into recruitment pipelines and ensure an excellent candidate experience.

What you’ll be doing

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborates with recruiters and hiring managers to understand the skills and business needs of the clients as it relates to their candidate cultivation.
  • Serves as first point of candidate vetting process including phone screening and determining skill fit and eligibility.
  • Compiles, formats, and prepares cover sheets for qualified and eligible candidates to be submitted into the recruitment process.
  • Manages applications within contractual turn-around times to maintain a smooth candidate experience.
  • Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
  • Ensures confidentiality and compliance processes are adhered to.
About you

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Demonstrable experience of sourcing, recruitment or HR related work involving candidate contact and communications
  • Skilled in communicating effectively in English verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Ability to prioritize, organize and perform multiple work assignments simultaneously while meeting assigned deadlines.
  • Ability to engage and build relationships with candidates through outbound phone calls.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle highly sensitive/confidential information.
  • Ability to function effectively with or as part of a team.
  • Ability to demonstrate effective customer services skills.
  • Ability to maintain a basic understanding of and compliance with related federal, state, and local laws, rules, and regulations.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

DESIRABLE KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Previous experience utilizing a Candidate Relationship Management (CRM), Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and/or Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) is preferred.
  • Experience working in the UK market is preferred.
  • Knowledge of government security clearance criteria will be an advantage.
