Job Title: Assistant Behavioural Scientist, FTC
Location: London- Hybrid, 3 days a week in Old Street Office
Who we are:
Imagine what even the world’s most exceptional organizations could achieve if all their employees were coached to be their absolute best.
At EZRA, we’re on a mission to do just that. We believe that through professional coaching, people get to know themselves and their goals, weaknesses and hang-ups. And once they know all that, they can build on the good stuff and work on the rest.
This mindset applies not only to our clients but is manifested in our own EZRA family. We believe a happy team is a productive team. We want our people to care about and be proud of what they do.
The role:
As an Assistant Behavioural Scientist, you’ll join the EZRA Labs team – the beating heart of the business. Labs is where we develop the tools, content, models and insights that power our coaching experiences. You’ll sit within the Behavioural Science team, supporting on a range of workstreams including Cai – our AI-powered simulation tool designed to help people practice high-stakes workplace conversations.
This role is ideal for someone with a foundation in psychology or behavioural science and a passion for applying that knowledge in innovative, tech-enabled ways. You’ll gain hands-on experience shaping simulations that are already being used by some of the world’s biggest organizations.
What you’ll do:
- Develop and Refine AI Role-Plays: Create and iterate psychologically informed role-play scenarios – shaping objectives, dialogue, and context, and uploading final content to the platform.
- Craft Prompts to Guide AI Behaviour: Write clear, purposeful prompts that enable Cai to simulate realistic workplace interactions and deliver coaching-style responses.
- Advance Our Ways of Working: Bring curiosity and critical thinking to improve how we create simulations – from process efficiency to content quality and scalability.
- Apply Behavioural Science Thoughtfully: Embed relevant psychological principles throughout the work, contributing to the credibility, nuance, and impact of our AI coaching.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with our product, engineering, and AI teams to align content with platform capabilities and user needs.
- Support Broader Labs Initiatives: Dedicate a portion of your time to high-impact Labs projects – including behavioural research, thought leadership, live workshop design, and content creation that spans beyond AI coaching.
You are:
- Comfortable using generative AI tools (like ChatGPT) and curious about how they work
- A strong writer, able to craft clear, engaging copy in a professional tone
- Analytical and thoughtful, with a good grasp of behavioural science principles
- Detail-oriented and structured, especially when translating briefs into deliverables
- Collaborative, proactive, and keen to learn in a fast-paced, agile team
- Experience in coaching, L&D or product environments is a bonus – but not required.
What you'll get out of it:
- Real-world impact: You’ll design simulations used by some of the world’s largest organizations.
- Practical AI experience: You’ll learn how to shape AI behaviour through effective prompting and scenario design.
- Exposure to product innovation: You’ll collaborate with product managers and embedded AI experts building one of our most strategic tools.
- Behavioral science in action: You’ll turn theory into application, whether researching content for a whitepaper or helping design sessions for our next client summit
- Professional development: You’ll receive coaching and mentorship, plus the chance to grow your skills in writing, research and process thinking.
- A mission-driven team: You’ll be part of a group that cares deeply about helping people grow at work – and about each other.
What we offer:

- Friends and family coaching
- 2 weeks work from anywhere
- Charity days
- Learning and Development Budget
- Weekly wellbeing hour
- Private medical insurance
- Pension scheme
