Location: Hybrid (National) - with travel to Adecco Group and client sites as required

About the Role

Are you passionate about data, analytics, and driving operational excellence? We are seeking an experienced, proactive and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our Armed Forces Recruitment team. In this pivotal role, you’ll support the delivery of critical recruitment services for the UK’s Armed Forces, working in partnership with the Serco, and a consortium of partners.

At Adecco, we are proud to partner with the UK Ministry of Defence (MOD) in providing critical recruitment services for the UK’s Armed Forces. This new approach will, for the first time, see the Royal Navy, the British Army, and the Royal Air Force have a joint Armed Forces Recruitment Service (AFRS). Delivered through a partnership of the MOD, Serco, Adecco and a consortium of partners, this service will provide end-to-end support from candidate attraction to assessment, onboarding, and Phase 1 training.

What you’ll be doing

  • Collect, analyse, and interpret recruitment data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to track KPIs and recruitment metrics.
  • Collaborate with operational teams and TEAM Serco to understand data needs and deliver tailored insights.
  • Champion data accuracy and integrity within the applicant tracking system (ATS) and other databases.
  • Conduct ad hoc analysis to support strategic initiatives and decision-making.
  • Ensure all data handling and reporting practices comply with legal and data security requirements.

About you

  • Experience working in a reporting team, using modern reporting platforms in an analytical capacity.
  • Operational experience in a volume recruitment based role.
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivots, lookups, flash fill, index, match, etc.) and proficiency in PowerBI.
  • Experience engaging with multiple management levels and operational units.
  • Ability to assimilate and interpret large volumes of information.
  • Previous experience in data consultancy and integrating diverse systems is desirable.
  • Strong presentation skills and a strategic approach to report outputs.
  • Experience managing people is an advantage.
