Role: Solution Design Lead
Location: Remote, however travel to the South and South West of England will be required when necessary
About the role: We are looking for an experienced Solution Design Lead to join us and be part of a team dedicated to the successful implementation of AFRS. You’ll drive and deliver key workstreams and help to manage diverse stakeholder relationships.
Joining us on a fixed term contract until January 2027, you’ll work within best practice principles and your role will be critical to the successful achievement of operational readiness within agreed timescales.
We’re looking for someone who has experience of designing and implementing large scale projects, and who is comfortable working to a defined list of requirements and strict timescales. You’ll also be a great communicator and will be collaborating with a diverse set of stakeholders, internally and externally.
What you’ll be doingSpecifically, you’ll be asked to:
- Support the AFRS Solution Design Director in refining and implementing the TOM.
- Own and deliver to assigned AFRS solutions workstreams within the Adecco delivery TOM.
- Work closely with Project Managers to translate solution components into project actions and deliverables and support the execution of these.
- Strive to achieve consistent service excellence, effective governance and legal compliance in all solutions design and delivery.
- Collaborate with other workstream leads and external stakeholders and provide solutions expertise to where required
- Deliver presentations to senior internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain up-to-date industry knowledge and trends to inform the development of optimal solutions and evolution of the proposition.
The role offers a great opportunity to work on a high profile, large RPO contract. AFRS provides you with the chance to help implement a service which directly contributes to the defence of our nation.

UK Ministry of Defence (MOD)
