About the role

As an Adaptive Endpoint Management Technical Level 3 Engineer focused on Azure AD, Intune, Autopilot and Microsoft Endpoint Manager Configuration Manager.

This position will work with customers in New Zealand (Auckland or Wellington). In this position you will be responsible for administering technical support, troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving technical issues on behalf of the customer. You will replicate issues and test customer configurations, recreate, track, and verify software defects in the field/ under lab conditions.

What you’ll be doing
  • Being the escalation point from L2 and working with end users who have reported problems. Elevation point for issues with Azure AD, Intune and MEM ConfigMgr (responding to monitoring events, issues from customer and escalation from L2).
  • Initial elevation point for Autopilot provisioning issues.
  • Troubleshooting sessions with customers to debug complex hardware, Windows OS and application-level issues.
  • Provide remediation steps to the customer to fix performance, security, availability and capacity issues. Provide recommendation to avoid future failures and poor device performance.
  • Leverage the HP TechPulse solution and modern PC management tools (Microsoft Intune, Azure and Config Manager experience required) to proactively manage the customers fleet and help the customer maintain the health of their end point devices
  • Create and maintain standard operating procedures for delivery.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving technical problems
  • Executing standard service requests
  • Following technical standard operating procedures
  • Interfacing with customers and working with a global team.
About you
  • Advanced knowledge of HP PC products and core Software products
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English (B2 level and above as per CEFR) and local
  • language
  • Successful completion of HP web-based training prior to commencing work
  • Wear business professional dress code
  • Flexible to perform assigned work during weekends, local bank holidays, night-hours upon HP request and supplier Project manager’s approval
  • Onsite customer facing experience with good customer service soft skills
  • Technical/mechanical hardware repair experience
  • Demonstrated technical/mechanical aptitude for learning new technology
  • Intermediate level of experience configuring and supporting complex issues with UEM (unified endpoint management) solutions. Experience with Microsoft Intune, Azure AD and ConfigMgr required.
  • Knowledge of Modern PC Management and Infrastructure to Support PC Management.
