Recruitment Consultant
Reports to Team Leader, Branch Manager or Recruitment Manager
The Recruitment Consultant (360) is responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process across a designated desk or market segment. This includes business development with prospective clients, managing existing client relationships, sourcing and engaging candidates, and facilitating placements. The role is fast-paced, and outcome-focused, requiring a strong drive for sales and service excellence.

Key Responsibilities
• Identify and engage new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and market mapping.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and workforce requirements.
• Conduct client meetings, pitch recruitment solutions, and negotiate terms of business.
• Advertise roles using appropriate sourcing channels (job boards, LinkedIn, database, etc.).
• Screen, interview, and shortlist candidates against client briefs.
• Manage the candidate journey, including offer negotiation and onboarding support.
• Ensure accurate and timely recording of activities in the CRM system.
• Comply with all legal and regulatory requirements relating to recruitment.
• Adhere to internal KPIs and quality assurance standards.
• Maintain accurate account records, forecasts, and reporting via CRM and tracking tools.
• Provide regular reporting and insights to clients on delivery performance and market trends.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities across the account
• Act as the primary point of contact for assigned client accounts.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with client stakeholders.
• Conduct regular service reviews and relationship check-ins to ensure satisfaction and alignment.
Key Outcomes
• Deliver consistent individual billings and meet or exceed monthly/quarterly placement targets.
• Build a profitable and sustainable client portfolio with repeat business.
• Provide an exceptional client and candidate experience at all stages of the recruitment process.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records, pipelines, and forecasts.
• Contribute positively to team culture, collaboration, and knowledge sharing.
• Uphold brand reputation through professional conduct, market expertise, and ethical recruitment practices.
• Maintain and grow client satisfaction and Net Promoter Score (NPS) within managed accounts.
• Deliver consistent service in line with SLAs, KPIs, and contractual obligations.
• Ensure job fulfillment, quality of hire, and candidate experience meet client expectations.
Experience
• Bachelor's degree in business or a related field
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, KPI-driven environment
• Familiarity with ATS/CRM systems and LinkedIn Recruiter (preferred)
• 1–2 years of professional work experience in sales, customer service, or administration.
• Previous experience in recruitment or staffing (even internally) is advantageous but not essential.
• Strong commercial acumen and results orientation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Confident in cold calling and client engagement.
• Proactive, resilient, and self-motivated.
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
• 30% Travel Requirements occasionally
