Mission
The Functional Business Analyst is responsible for developing functional analyses based on high‑level business requirements, producing the documentation necessary for process design, and ensuring alignment with the existing technological framework. The role evaluates impacts on the application ecosystem and proactively proposes ideas and solutions to evolve processes and systems.
The position operates in an international and multicultural IT environment, collaborating with global stakeholders and distributed teams to deliver high‑quality IT solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Requirements Analysis & Functional Design
- Capture, analyze, and document high‑level business and functional requirements.
- Translate business needs into detailed functional specifications, user stories, and process designs.
- Produce comprehensive documentation describing proposed solutions and modifications to existing systems.
- Conduct functional impact analyses related to requirement changes, considering direct and indirect implications across the application ecosystem.
- Guarantee the stability, consistency, and evolution of applications within the scope of responsibility.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
- Organize and maintain effective communication with stakeholders across functions and geographies.
- Facilitate understanding between business teams and IT development teams, ensuring correct interpretation and implementation of requirements.
- Foster a collaborative and productive partnership with the preferred IT supplier.
- Work closely with developers, testers, architects, and cross‑country teams throughout the solution lifecycle.
IT Development Support & Continuous Improvement
- Support testing phases (functional testing, UAT), ensuring solutions meet business expectations.
- Identify system evolution opportunities through data analysis and propose actionable improvements.
- Contribute to continuous enhancement of processes, applications, and delivery methodologies.
- Provide proactive suggestions for new technological solutions aligned with strategic business needs.
Profile & Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst or Functional Analyst in IT projects.
- Strong analytical mindset with excellent communication, facilitation, and documentation skills.
- Ability to interact effectively with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders in an international context.
- Experience working in distributed or multicultural teams.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written).
