The Recruitment Consultant serves as a strategic, business-aligned talent advisor, responsible for delivering high-impact hiring outcomes aligned to client priorities. This role extends beyond execution to include business-driven prioritization, data-informed decision making, and proactive talent strategy development.

The Consultant leverages labor market intelligence, AI-enabled tools, and structured recruiting methodologies to build high-quality pipelines, accelerate hiring velocity, and improve quality-of-hire. This individual owns hiring outcomes end-to-end while building trusted relationships with clients and candidates to drive long-term value.

What you’ll be doing

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Client Advisory & Talent Strategy
• Serve as a trusted talent advisor, translating business objectives into prioritized, impact-driven recruiting strategies aligned to revenue, delivery risk, and growth priorities
• Leverage labor market intelligence, talent availability, and compensation insights to shape role design, hiring strategy, and timelines
• Provide data-driven guidance and constructive challenges to influence hiring decisions and improve outcomes
• Anticipate future talent needs and proactively align recruiting plans to business priorities
Talent Delivery, Pipeline Engineering & Assessment
• Lead end-to-end recruitment delivery across direct hire, contract, and project-based roles
• Build and maintain proactive, multi-channel talent pipelines, including passive talent engagement, market mapping, and hidden talent identification
• Evaluate and recommend high-quality candidates for client consideration, exercising discretion and independent judgment to assess qualifications, experience, and fit against role requirements, business objectives and candidate preferences.
• Apply structured, competency-based assessment methods and provide high-confidence, evidence-based recommendations to improve quality-of-hire consistency
Execution, Velocity & Delivery Excellence
• Drive speed-to-hire while maintaining high candidate quality standards
• Reduce process friction and improve alignment to increase efficiency and hiring outcomes
• Manage multiple requisitions effectively while maintaining performance, accuracy, and responsiveness
Technology, AI & Data Enablement
• Leverage AI, automation, and talent platforms (ATS/CRM) to increase speed, enhance quality, and scale delivery.
• Use data and analytics to monitor pipeline health, identify bottlenecks, predict risks, and optimize strategy
• Focus effort on high-value advisory, relationship, and decision-making activities
Relationship Management & Talent Experience
• Build and sustain long-term, trust-based relationships with clients and candidates
• Act as a talent ambassador, strengthening employer brand and advising clients on talent market positioning and channels (e.g., LinkedIn)
• Serve as strategic advisor to candidates and hiring stakeholders, exercising independent judgment to drive talent attraction, engagement and selection strategies
• Deliver a high-quality experience to candidates who are placed on temporary assignment, through proactive engagement, communication, and coaching, in areas including performance management, issue resolution and assignment support.
Operational Excellence, Compliance & Ownership
• Execute recruiting processes with consistency, structure, and discipline across the full lifecycle
• Provide guidance to clients on hiring strategies, compensation, and market conditions, and negotiate fee agreements and placement terms to support successful hiring outcomes and business objectives.
• Maintain accurate, compliant documentation and ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements
• Demonstrate ownership and accountability for hiring outcomes, pipeline health, and client satisfaction
• Continuously improve through feedback, data insights, and adoption of new tools, processes, and ways of working

About you

MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree preferred, or combination of post-high school education and related professional work experience equivalent to six (6) years may be considered in lieu of a degree.

 KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIREMENTS:

Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and deliver a high level of client service

Demonstrated agility and adaptability in a fast-paced, evolving business environment

Effective organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize competing demands and meet deadlines

Problem-solving capability with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset and ability to implement creative, practical solutions

Solid business acumen with understanding of market dynamics, talent trends, and workforce solutions methodologies

Proficiency leveraging technology, including CRM systems, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), and AI-enabled tools to enhance sourcing, decision-making, and productivity

Continuous learning mindset with the ability to quickly adopt emerging technologies, including AI and automation tools, to drive improved hiring outcomes and client impact
