The Vice President of Country Communications France leads, develops, and manages strategic internal and external communications and thought leadership strategies for The Adecco Group France (TAG), advancing the narrative and key business objectives of the company and its subject matter experts. This position will be part of the Executive Committee of TAG France. The VP Country Communications orchestrates communications cross GBU in France, and aligns with global communication priorities, to ensure a coordinated approach, aligned messaging and to maximize ROI on communications activities in the region. This role has matrixed reporting to the Adecco Group Chief Communications Officer and TAG Country President France.
What you’ll be doing- Defines and leads TAG France’s media relations and corporate communications strategy, including internal and external communications, crisis response, reputation management, storytelling, and content creation. Ensures alignment with global communication priorities and consistent messaging to maintain a strong Group reputation in the French market.
- Acts as a strategic advisor to the TAG Country President, supporting their internal and external representation by developing and delivering content aligned with key priorities. Partners across functions and geographies to ensure consistent and high-impact communication.
- Orchestrates communication activities across the country in collaboration with business unit (GBU) communications teams, ensuring initiatives are well-coordinated and aligned. Supports GBU communicators by sharing resources and tools to ensure consistency and efficiency in messaging across business lines.
- Serves as the most senior communications leader in the country, acting as a trusted advisor to leadership, HR, marketing, legal, and other stakeholders. Responsible for integrated communication strategies that foster employee and stakeholder engagement aligned with company goals.
- Leads TAG France-wide internal communication efforts, including crisis response, change communication, and key leadership messaging, particularly during periods of transformation, acquisitions, and initiatives driven by the Group CEO. Oversees the creation and distribution of communication materials and the cascading of global messages.
- Builds and maintains strong relationships with media and influencers across relevant trade and top-tier outlets. Manages all aspects of content development and editorial planning, ensuring consistent and on-brand messaging across channels. Leads the editorial calendar in collaboration with GBU communication leads, balancing both short- and long-term priorities.
- Develops and executes creative, insight-driven campaigns that support brand and communication goals while encouraging innovation and fresh thinking. Oversees official TAG France materials intended for key external audiences, including media, public officials, clients, partners, and vendors.
- Manages proactive and reactive press and event engagements from start to finish, ensuring spokespeople are fully briefed and supported with comprehensive materials. Conducts risk and reputation assessments to inform communication strategies and guide agile decision-making.
- Keeps up to date with industry trends and standards, fostering a culture of data-driven communication, continuous improvement, and strategic excellence.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in public relations, communications, journalism or a related field with a minimum of eight years of related corporate experience.
- Experience working in a matrixed organization is critical.
- Previous corporate communications experience, strong knowledge of media relations and crisis management and previous experience working for an international organization is required.

- Proven ability to successfully collaborate with team members across functions and business lines and navigate a complex, matrixed organization
- Experience in managing and coaching communications professionals
- Comfortable collaborating with colleagues globally to promote consistency knowledge sharing and best practices
- Executive presence, strong communication skills, and the ability to confidently provide strategic counsel, ask good questions, challenge the status quo, suggest alternatives and articulate pros and con.
- Ability to handle ambiguity and fluid priorities, gain consensus through influence, change course when warranted, and manage multiple and complex priorities efficiently and effectively
- Strong communications judgement and ability to serve as voice of reason during emergencies and crisis situations
- Ability to assume leadership role for large projects and identify and manage key resources needed to execute
- Capable of maintaining discretion and confidentiality at all times when dealing with sensitive or proprietary information
- Successfully manages multiple projects with competing priorities and tight deadlines
- Maintains a current understanding of the organization’s operational priorities
- Able to articulate complex subject matter in a straightforward, concise and easily digestible manner for broad audiences
- Highly proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Outlook and Word; knowledgeable in all aspects of Microsoft Office and ancillary programs, in addition to other internet and social media platforms
- Knowledge of Associated Press style guidelines
