The Specialist Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) works closely with the TPRM team and the VP TPRM in implementing the Group’s TPRM program, thus enabling the organization to identify, assess, mitigate, and manage the risks associated with providing services to or procuring goods from a specific industry, segment thereof or company, or with certain business partners or practices, that have the potential to damage the Group’s reputation and expose it to unintended risks. In this role, the Specialist will contribute to and/or lead (under supervision) operational TPRM support and lead roll-out of meaningful TPRM program activities, processes, and measures in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
To help instil a risk management culture and increase general awareness for TPRM related topics across the Group, the Specialist will help build up corresponding internal (and as necessary: external) training and communication material and channels for more community engagement and support the development and subsequent roll-out of policies, procedures, and training to target audiences.
The Specialist TPRM will be as part the TRPM team prepare operational and regulatory reporting to help us meet ongoing information needs for different audiences and channels.
The Specialist TPRM reports to the VP TPRM, working closely with stakeholders from Global Business Units, central functions such as Procurement, Legal, Integrity & Compliance, ESG, Audit, Information Security, Data Privacy, Finance and Sales.
What you’ll be doing- Act as point of contact for and support the TRPM Framework operationally.
- Provide support in the overall TPRM program roll-out across the Group.
- Provide subject matter expertise to the TPRM Framework.
- Support the configuration of relevant systems and processes.
- Regularly update and adjust supporting processes and training material reflecting developments and changing requirements, in close alignment with the VP TPRM.
- Partner with business stakeholders, subject matter experts and third-party vendors to ensure program and processes are successfully executed in line with objectives and timelines.
- Support the planning, development and delivery of TPRM-related awareness raising, training, guidance, and communication material across target communities.
- Perform third-party risk management controls as needed and facilitate periodic third-party risk review processes to ensure external and internal stakeholder are operating in alignment with Group’s standards.
- Respond to general TPRM-related requests and assessments, and lead/support the preparation of regular operational reporting and to relevant steering and oversight committees.
- Support the TPRM Team and the VP TPRM in any other TPRM-related activities as they arise.
- 2+ years of experience working in a risk or control function, with expertise particularly in TPRM within multinational companies; professional accreditation in risk management and/or ESG /Sustainability experience a plus.
- Robust knowledge of third-party risk/vendor management lifecycle and/or procurement experience.
- Understanding of TPRM related regulatory requirements and expectations.
- Experience in global project management, process implementation and/or support in process design, and process improvement.
- Customer-minded and solution-oriented, with a keen eye on business needs and realities.
- Attention to detail and structured working method, with ability to prioritize and meet key deadlines.
- Strong data management and analytical skills.
- Resilient, autonomous, and goal-driven; able to take instructions and work independently with a high degree of own initiative.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English other languages are an asset.
