The Global Process Owner & Product Manager – Hire & Onboarding owns the global end-to-end "Hire & Onboarding" journey as a strategic product, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience for new employees across regions. This role blends process leadership, product management, and stakeholder collaboration to manage the full lifecycle of solutions – from strategy and design through execution, enhancement, and continuous improvement.
You will serve as the single point of accountability for the global Hire & Onboarding product, aligning process excellence with digital innovation, regional needs, and COE strategies. Partnering closely with HR, IT, Centers of Excellence, and business stakeholders, you’ll translate vision into outcomes by managing technology, process, and change in a scalable and agile way.
What you’ll be doingProduct Ownership & Strategy
- Own the global Hire & Onboarding experience as a strategic HR product.
- Define the product vision, roadmap, and success metrics in alignment with enterprise and talent strategies.
- Act as the voice of the customer (HR, candidates, hiring managers) to continuously evolve the product.
End-to-End Process Management
- Design, document, and optimize the end-to-end global hiring and onboarding processes.
- Drive consistency, compliance, and continuous improvement across all regions.
- Ensure process documentation (e.g., SOPs, process maps) is current and accessible.
Technology Lifecycle Ownership
- Partner with IT and vendors to implement, enhance, and manage supporting systems (e.g., ATS, onboarding platforms, SuccessFactors, Workday).
- Manage product backlogs, enhancements, testing, and releases using agile or hybrid delivery models.
- Drive integration of hire and onboarding with other key talent and core HR platforms.
Collaboration with COEs and Stakeholders
- Collaborate with Centers of Excellence (Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Learning, etc.) to ensure alignment with functional strategies.
- Foster strong partnerships with regional HR, business units, IT, and compliance teams.
- Actively participate in cross-functional forums to influence design and decision-making.
User Experience & Change Management
- Drive the user experience (UX) strategy for both candidates and internal users.
- Lead change management and training efforts to support adoption of new solutions and processes.
- Create stakeholder-specific communications and engagement plans.
Data, Insights & Continuous Improvement
- Define KPIs and success measures to evaluate process and product performance.
- Use data and feedback to drive product improvements and innovation.
- Present regular reports and insights to HR and business leadership.
Governance, Risk & Compliance
- Establish and enforce global standards while supporting localization needs.
- Ensure compliance with global data privacy, labor, and hiring regulations.
- Actively contribute to risk mitigation through process controls and audit readiness
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
- 7+ years of experience in HR, with a focus on process ownership, product management, or HRIS implementations.
- Demonstrated experience managing global hire and onboarding processes and systems.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives across process, people, and platforms.
- Strong product and stakeholder management skills with the ability to balance global standardization and local requirements.
- Experience with HR tech platforms (e.g., SuccessFactors, Workday, ATS systems).
Preferred:
- Master’s degree in Business, HR, or a related field.
- Product management certification (e.g., Pragmatic, AIPMM, SAFe PM/PO).
- Lean Six Sigma or other process improvement qualifications.
- Experience working in global matrixed organizations.
- Multilingual capabilities and sensitivity to regional cultural differences.
