About the role

Mission:

  • Adecco Group ITD has established a new 3-year ITD Strategy encompassing 4 strategic pillars including Disrupting Innovation & Change.
  • The Lead AI Governance and Portfolio will play a pivotal role in ensuring the selection & execution of the AI use cases and initiatives to enable Business growth and profitability through technology & innovation, with clear focus on delivering business value.
  • Will design, implement & manage the required governance & performance framework, along the AI initiatives lifecycle, from ideation to operations and retire.
  • Will manage the AI Portfolio along with key stakeholders in the Business, Innovation, Legal, IT Security, Responsible AI, ensuring strategic focus, respect of framework, speed & excellence with delivery.

Accountabilities:

  • The Lead of AI Governance & Portfolio is accountable for defining, implementing, and maintaining the governance model for AI initiatives across the organization.
  • This role ensures that AI programs comply with internal policies, ethical standards, and external regulations, while also managing the end-to-end execution of the AI project portfolio.
  • The role interfaces with senior stakeholders across compliance, ethics, IT security, legal, and innovation functions to ensure trustworthy, scalable, and value-driven AI adoption.
  • Drive a mindset of Value and Business impact, ensuring the Portfolio have clear and defined Business outcomes.
What you’ll be doing

AI Governance

  • Define the AI Governance Framework aligned with legal, ethical, security, and regulatory requirements (e.g., EU AI Act, ISO 42001).
  • Establish policies, standards, and processes for responsible AI use.
  • Coordinate with Ethics, Compliance, Risk, Legal, IT Security, and Data Protection teams to ensure alignment and audit readiness.
  • Maintain a register of AI use cases and assess risks across the AI lifecycle.

AI Portfolio Management

  • Lead the intake, prioritization, and lifecycle management of AI initiatives—from ideation to delivery and decommissioning.
  • Monitor program delivery, interdependencies, value realization, and adherence to governance.
  • Ensure clear ownership, KPI tracking, and progress reporting for all AI initiatives.
  • Drive stakeholder alignment and manage escalation of risks or misalignment across initiatives.

Leadership & Engagement

  • Act as the central point of contact for AI Governance and Portfolio Management.
  • Engage regularly with business unit leaders, innovation teams, and IT functions.
  • Represent the AI portfolio in executive and board-level discussions when required.
About you

Work Experience:

  • 8–12+ years of experience in technology strategy, data/AI governance, compliance, or enterprise program management.
  • Experience managing cross-functional AI or data-driven portfolios at enterprise scale.
  • Master best practices in AI delivery, Performance management & Change management.
  • Familiarity with ethical AI principles, risk assessments, model documentation, and regulatory standards (e.g., EU AI Act, ISO/IEC 42001, GDPR).
  • Background in working closely with innovation labs, IT security, compliance, and executive stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of AI/ML technologies, data lifecycle, and emerging governance trends.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and inter-personal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization, including executive management.

Education & qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Legal/Compliance, or Business Administration.
  • Certification in program management (e.g., PMP, MSP) and/or AI governance (e.g., ISO 42001 foundations).
  • Exposure to international operations and multicultural environments.
