SME Business Developer, New Logo

The Business Developer’s primary responsibility is to meet or exceed defined annual sales target goals while profitably building revenues within the assigned sales territory.  This will occur through a concentration on new business development. In this role, your responsibilities will also include prospecting for new clients, developing and expanding relationships with existing clients, proposals, delivering presentations, presenting annual and or quarterly business reviews, renewing existing contracts and negotiating new contracts.

  • Collaboratesregularly in team selling withLHHcolleagues, Account Managers, Sales Development RepresentativesandClient Partners,alongwith North America Adecco GroupSalesandCustomer SuccessTeams,as needed.

In this role you can expect to

Key Accountabilities

  • Responsible for achievingor exceedingthe territory revenue goals within the assigned market.
  • Analysis of local market opportunity and LHH market shareincluding competitive data and market trends.
  • Continual and defined prospecting strategies which will uncover new client opportunities.
  • Executionof strategies forthevertical and market.
  • Develop a pipeline of new business opportunities, forecast revenue and profitability.
  • Provides regular updates tothe Sales Segmentleaderregardingsales activity including client visits, first-in new business meetings, current client updates, ongoing account proposals, win/loss record with details, shopper rates, conversion and engagement rates, pipeline reports and progress toward quarterly and annual revenue and profitability targets.
  • Consistently capture key milestones in the sales process utilizingSalesforce.
  • Manage a seamless transition from sales to delivery operations.
  • Writes proposals,creates,and presents winning client presentations, leads RFP responseprocess,and follows national pricing guidelines.
  • Negotiate contract terms with clients and communicate terms to stakeholders.
  • Ensures thatappropriate and timely follow-up occurs withmarketing activities.

  • An undergraduate degree required.
  • Minimum3+ years of successful business development/sales into large corporate clients - national or regional accounts.
  • Proven track record in a professionalB2Bsales environment. Preferred – a successful track record selling to HR Executives (Outplacement Services, HR Consulting Services, Talent Management Software, Staffing/Recruiting, HRIS,JobBoard, RPO).
  • Demonstratedproficiency incomputer skills with a general understanding of technological sales support techniques.
  • Experience using Salesforce.

  • Range $65,000 Minimum - $75,000 Maximum per year

Placement within this range is determined based on geographic location, experience, and other compensatory factors.
