Your Role
You will be responsible to provide support to the Accounts Payable function in day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth and efficient processing of financial transactions.
Job Description
- Process vendor invoices, staff claims, and credit card reconciliations accurately and efficiently.
- Ensure timely and accurate payment processing in accordance with scheduled payment runs.
- Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date records of all accounts payable transactions, including invoices, payments, and vendor data.
- Manage and execute inter-company transactions in compliance with internal policies.
- Oversee the end-to-end vendor creation process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company procedures.
- Reconcile the Fixed Assets schedule with the General Ledger (GL) to ensure alignment and accuracy.
- Prepare and update month-end schedules and financial reports to support closing activities.
- Provide support on various ad-hoc tasks and finance-related projects as assigned.
Core Competencies and Pre-requisities
- Possess good communication skills and technical accounting knowledge.
- Analytical, meticulous, proactive, able to work independently and as a team player.
- Minimum Diploma in Accountancy or equivalent
- Minimum 3-4 years relevant work experience
- Positive working attitude and committed to deadlines
- Good interpersonal skills with the willingness to learn new knowledge.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Some experience in external audit firm peferred
