About the role

We are seeking a Manager Finance Business Partnering – Sales & Marketing to become the strategic partner for Premium Accounts by delivering high financial recommendation to drive account success, profitable growth and enhance business performance on an international scale. This role drives the financial performance of the premium accounts by aligning financial strategy with business goals, providing in-depth financial analysis, and collaborating with various business units to optimize decision-making. This position requires a balance of strategic thinking, technical financial skills and strong leadership and communication skills to instil a culture of financial intelligence across global teams. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of contributing to business growth through financial innovation, exceptional senior stakeholder engagement, and cross-functional collaboration.

What you’ll be doing

1. Strategic Commercial Financial Planning:

  • Account Plan Preparation: responsible for client profitability (Sales and Gross Margin).
  • Drive sales pipeline reporting (monthly, annual and 3-year plan).
  • Analyse sales related data and provide insights aiming at constantly improving and further enabling the business.
  • Optimize Marketing spend in high ROI initiatives align with strategic plans.

2. Strategic Business Partnering

  • Act as a strategic advisor to senior leadership, including Leadership team, Executive Sponsor & Executive Committee for Actuals, Forecast, and Budget.
  • Partner with the Global Leadership Teams to drive profitable account growth, product penetration and increase share of wallet.
  • Responsible for client reporting financial analysis ensuring timely and accurate delivery of insights.

3. Business Analysis:

  • Utilize technical skills to undertake comprehensive financial analyses and craft insightful reports to aid business decisions.
  • Continuously evaluate and identify opportunities to optimize business operations and improve financial processes.
  • Preparation of Monthly Account Plan Review, EC slides showing the key drivers for variance analysis of key KPIs.

4. Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Shape and nurture relationships with senior stakeholders across international domains, conveying complex financial narratives clearly and effectively.
  • Anticipate and address unspoken stakeholder needs, offering proactive solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams globally, identifying prospects for business improvements and steering the execution of strategic initiatives.
About you
  • 7+ years of experience in finance, with a proven track record of contributing positively to business growth.
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, with a strong focus on project execution and driving results.
  • Experience driving organizational and financial process changes, including financial transformation and process improvement initiatives.
  • Proven experience leading and developing high-performing teams, with the ability to influence and inspire cross-functional collaboration.
  • A highly analytical mindset, skilled in dissecting complex financial data to unearth actionable business insights.
  • Great interpersonal abilities to foster and sustain relationships with international partners and leadership.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting, skilfully juggling multiple priorities.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to present financial insights to senior leadership and influence business decisions.
  • Strong influencing skills to build consensus and drive alignment, along with adept negotiation abilities to manage stakeholders.
  • Strong ability to think strategically and contribute to the overall business direction while providing actionable financial insights.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to create reports and dashboards using Power BI. 
  • University degree in Engineering, Actuarial, Finance, or a related field.
  • Business Fluent in English. Additional languages an advantage.
