Due to the continued growth of our Global IT Finance organization, we are currently looking for a:
Senior Financial Controller, Global IT Tower
Mission:
As a Senior Financial Controller for the respective IT Tower, you will drive overall financial performance through strong business analytics and strategic financial oversight. You will lead end-to-end business controlling activities, partnering closely with budget owners and key stakeholders to ensure effective financial planning, reporting, forecasting, and decision-making.
You will play a pivotal role in maintaining a strong control environment in line with Adecco policies while ensuring accurate, transparent, and timely financial reporting. The position reports directly to the Senior Finance Manager.
Core Responsibilities:
- Drive the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes for the assigned IT Tower.
- Analyze actual spending, identify variances against budget and forecast, and provide actionable insights.
- Perform monthly updates of the annual financial forecast.
- Take end-to-end ownership of financial controlling and reporting activities in close collaboration with the accounting team.
- Partner with IT leaders and budget owners to improve financial transparency, decision-making, and performance management.
- Collaborate with Global IT Unit Controllers to ensure accurate tracking, forecasting, and allocation of costs.
- Oversee cost allocation methodologies and charge-back models.
- Ensure proper execution and monitoring of intercompany billing processes.
- Support the development of business cases by validating financial assumptions and assessing impacts on budgets and forecasts.
- Ensure business and financial processes are executed in accordance with the Group's control framework and policies.
- Monitor and ensure the transparency, accuracy, integrity, and proper allocation of intercompany transactions.
- Contribute to the development of a high-performing IT Finance organization through knowledge sharing, process improvements, and best-practice implementation.
- Support finance transformation and continuous improvement initiatives where applicable.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Around 2–4 years of experience in Financial Controlling, Financial Analysis, FP&A, or a related finance function.
- Previous accounting experience would be considered an advantage.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide business recommendations.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are required.
- Experience with IFRS and/or US GAAP is considered an advantage.
- Fluent English, both written and spoken.
- Ability to work effectively in an international and fast-paced environment.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.\
