What you’ll be doing

As Head of IT, Tech and Engineering , you hold full responsibility for the P&L and overall leadership of the Swedish business. You translate the global GBU vision into a high‑performing, growth‑oriented country strategy, driving sustainable expansion across revenue, margin, and EBITA.

You build a high-quality organisation, elevate operational and delivery excellence, deepen strategic client relationships, and foster an engaging performance culture aligned with Adecco Group priorities.

Strategic & Commercial Leadership

  • Translate global Tech / IT Staffing strategy into a clear Swedish market strategy and 3‑year business plan.
  • Define annual budgets, commercial targets, and growth priorities across segments.
  • Strengthen Adecco’s positioning as a leading Tech, Engineering, and Digital staffing partner in Sweden.
  • Ensure strong brand presence in alignment with global marketing direction.

Sales & Client Leadership

  • Personally drive senior client engagement with strategic and enterprise customers.
  • Lead new business development while expanding existing client relationships via MSP, talent supply chain, and solution upsell.
  • Oversee complex deal shaping, RFx responses, and final commercial approvals.
  • Build and sustain a diversified, high‑quality sales pipeline.

Operational Excellence

  • Ensure harmonised processes, governance, and delivery models aligned with the Target Operating Model.
  • Drive productivity, utilisation, cost controls, and margin optimisation.
  • Establish KPIs and performance management routines for revenue, EBITDA, and operational health.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives across delivery, quality, and compliance.

People & Organisation Leadership

  • Build, coach, and develop a high‑performing sales and delivery leadership team.
  • Act as a “teacher‑leader” who actively trains, mentors, and develops talent.
  • Drive recruitment, retention, succession planning, and capability development.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, empowerment, diversity, and continuous learning.

About you
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen (P&L ownership, margin management, forecasting)
  • Proven sales leadership and new business development capability
  • Ability to balance strategic growth with handson execution
  • Excellent leadership, coaching, and people development skills
  • Strong negotiation, stakeholder management, and client relationship skills
  • Change leadership and organisational transformation capability
  • 5+ years in Tech, IT, Engineering Staffing, Technology Consulting, or Digital Solutions
  • Demonstrated leadership of a business unit, country, or P&L role
  • Strong understanding of the Swedish market and client landscape
  • Track record of driving growth, scaling teams, and improving profitability
  • Experience leading sales-driven organisations and complex client engagements
  • University degree in Engineering, Technology, Business, or equivalent technical/commercial field
  • Fluent in Swedish and English
