The Opportunity
We are seeking a Finance Specialist with a solid foundation in financial reporting and compliance. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys cross-functional collaboration, and is passionate about delivering accurate and timely financial insights to support business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Accounts Payable & Payment Operations
- Review payment request forms and supporting documents to ensure proper approvals are obtained via the BPM system
- Verify AP closing entries and vendor creation processed by the Shared Services Center (SSC) in the ACCPAC system
- Execute salary payment proposals according to due dates and upload payment files to the bank portal
- Retrieve bank statements and reconcile them with payment batches
Month-End Closing & FP&A
- Manage month-end closing tasks including prepaid amortization and accruals
- Prepare monthly closing reports covering expense and balance sheet accounts
- Monitor SSC’s expense closing process and validate results
- Prepare monthly SG&A forecasts, variance analysis, and bi-weekly cash flow projections
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to complete the annual budgeting process
- Maintain and archive journal entry documentation (paper-based)
Tax & Compliance
- Handle VAT filings (Form 401) and withholding tax declarations
- Prepare various income reconciliation schedules for tax reporting and compliance purposes
About You
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in finance or accounting, preferably in AP or payment operations
- Experience with ACCPAC or other ERP systems is a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel with basic financial analysis capabilities
- Detail-oriented with strong communication and collaboration skills
- Fluent in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with the Shared Services Center in India
