Marketing Strategy & Planning Analyst

This role is responsible for developing and overseeing marketing planning cycles, managing budget allocation, and ensuring performance tracking for optimized marketing efficiency. This role provides reporting and analytic to support date-driven decision-making, ensuring that marketing initiatives align with business objectives and deliver measurable outcomes.

In this role you can expect to

Strategic Planning and Execution:

  • Develops and oversees marketing planning cycles to align with business objectives and maximize impact.
  • Supports the execution of marketing initiatives and collaborates with cross-functions teams to enhance marketing strategies. Monitors and improves performance tracking, ensuring all marketing activities are aligned with strategic goals.

Budgeting and Financial Management:

  • Manages marketing budget allocation and ensures financial efficiency in spending
  • Tracks and analyses return on investment (ROI) for the marketing function, partnering with Marketing Analysts.
  • Provides financial reporting and forecasting to optimize budget planning and resource allocation together with Finance.

Performance Management & Analytics

  • Establishes and monitors key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure marketing effectiveness
  • Provides reporting and analytics to drive data-driven decision-making and process improvements
  • Identifies trends and insights to enhance marketing performance and operations efficiency

All About You

  • Master or equivalent education in Marketing, Business, Finance, or related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in Marketing/Sales operations, budgeting, and performance measurement
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data-driven decision-making
  • Familiarity with marketing performance frameworks and ROI analysis
  • Experience with marketing automation tools, analytics platforms, and financial tracking systems
  • Excellent communications and collaboration skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong organization skills and the ability to multitask
  • Experience working with CRM, marketing analytics, and budget management tools
  • Fully professional English language skills, other European languages as a plus
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Analytics, or other reporting tools

Compensation: GBP £33,000-50,000 plus annual bonus opportunity.

Placement within this range is determined based on experience, geography, and other compensatory factors.
