NA06522The Regional Director of Operations will report directly to the VP, Field Operations and work with Area Leader(s) to drive consistency across the Regions in delivery, growth strategy, productivity, operations and profitability.
The Regional Director of Operations will oversee a team of AOPs/AODs and be responsible for financial and operational objectives within their assigned Areas and Region. This client-facing role focuses on driving performance, profitability, operational compliance, and client and associate satisfaction.
The Regional Director of Operations is vital in supporting and ensuring our delivery operations' success and will require travel to branch and onsite facilities to catalyze organizational change, cultivating a shared vision while motivating others to transfer vision into action.
A Regional Director of Operations may or may not have direct Area cost center responsibilities along with team leadership.
What you’ll be doingESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Team Leadership
Delivers best in class leadership, mentorship, and direct supervision to assigned Area Operations Partners with a clear governance structure, delineation of roles, responsibilities, and decision-making authority. Responsible for colleague hiring strategy, overall team coaching and development, and motivation of the team to ensure consistency while driving order fulfillment. Trains new Area Operations Partners to a high standard in a timely manner and coaches Partners on how to ensure performance and productivity of their team. Supports and assists in development of on-going training initiatives to optimize team’s performance while familiarizing all with policies and/or procedures changes applicable to their positions
Financial and Operational
Accountable for improving and maintaining fill rate, re-employment, attrition/retention, and 6x6 branch and onsite delivery teams. Ensure profitability, productivity and growth standards are met in assigned area of responsibility. Accountable for delivery related KPIs and performance resulting in a positive impact on the P&L, with the objective of growth. Accountable for monitoring financial activities, Accounts Receivable, collections and bad debt resulting in a positive impact on the P&L for assigned area. Accountable for minimizing exposure to worker’s compensation and unemployment claims resulting in a positive impact on the P&L with support from business functions. Ensures full compliance with federal, state, and local laws. Leads the implementation and execution of robust recruitment plans based on historical and current business activity and knowledge of customers’ hiring patterns and trends within the industry or markets.
Utilizes operations data to monitor order management practices including forecast and capacity to provide strategic recommendations on order distribution and resource allocation focusing on maximizing fulfillment and business performance.
Proactively identifies trends in supported clients' attrition, retention, and attendance rates while partnering with leaders to identify strategies to drive improvements.
Supports field-based implementations, including branch and on-site set-up and support for Go-live and post-Go-live operations.
Operational Compliance
Solid understanding of current policies and procedures legal requirements while ensuring company policies and procedures are implemented and firmly followed.
Develops effective and efficient processes to solve complex business issues while maintaining contract requirements and continually increasing business performance.
Responsible for executing regional audits to uphold corporate and client compliance standards.
Driving Performance and Associate Care
Create programs that directly improve associate attrition, drive continuous re-employment, promote candidate attraction, increase rNPS and tNPS, and encourage compliance and safety. Develop, implement, and monitor success of Associate Reward and Recognition Programs. Identifies gaps and areas of opportunity for teams while providing ongoing training and development focusing on technology, process, quality, compliance, and delivery. Partners with field leadership to source, hire, and develop field colleagues, including oversight of performance metrics and identifying strategies to increase productivity. Effectively implements and drives adoption to new technology while serving as a subject matter expert for these tools. Masterful cross-functional communication ensuring all technical and non-technical stakeholders collaborate effectively and stay engaged throughout the lifecycle of a project. Provides ad-hoc support to manage issue resolution. Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree Preferred. A high school diploma or equivalent and 5+ years of equivalent work experience is required. Previous experience of recruitment strategy and implementation; including analytical expertise of recruitment processes and metrics is required.
This role requires in-person work and travel throughout the region to onsite and client locations, the expected travel exceeds 50%.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to prioritize, have strong attention to detail, organize and perform multiple responsibilities simultaneously while meeting assigned deadlines.
Experience managing complex projects that may vary in nature and scope
Proactive in defining problems and implementing creative and sustainable solutions for resolution
Experience in modeling and deploying business improvement processes
Experienced in managing and coordinating teams across multiple business groups
Ability to analyze and interpret complex data sets and translate findings to key stakeholders
Knowledge of and the ability to apply sound leadership practices, including developing colleagues by inspiring, encouraging and providing coaching to improve performance.
Adept at performing to established KPIs and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Strategic mindset and collaborative personality that thrives in a highly cross functional, cross-cultural environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, Teams and Outlook, and ability to learn new software as required

The anticipated annual base salary range for this position is $91,818 - $168,333. Compensation varies based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, experience, education, key skills, and geographic location.
Benefit offerings for full-time employment include medical, dental, vision, term life and AD&D insurance, short-term and long-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, commuter benefits, wellness plans, and a 401k plan or a non-qualified deferred compensation plan. Available paid leave includes Personal Time Off (PTO) on an accrual basis up to 152 hours a year, 10 Paid Holidays, 1 Community Service Day, and up to 6 weeks of Paid Parental Leave. PTO and holiday hours are prorated based on hire date within the calendar year.
