About the role

The Business Analytics and Reporting Lead holds primary responsibility for managing the daily operations of the teams within the Business Analytics & Reporting function, while also developing and ensuring long-term strategic initiatives for the function are fulfilled. This position necessitates an exceptional blend of tactical implementation and strategic foresight to ensure the function's effectiveness, efficiency, and sustainability. 
The Business Analytics and Reporting Lead works closely with the Tech and Data Senior Leadership Team (SLT)lead to deliver both operational and strategic direction. This is primarily directed towards the Business Analytics and Reporting Team, with support extended across the function as needed

What you’ll be doing

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Oversees daily operations to ensure operational efficiency, maintain high-quality standards, and achieve cost-effective management of resources.
•Ensures adherence to industry regulations, standards, and best practices to maintain compliance and excellence.
• Monitors and assesses the effectiveness of strategic initiatives and adjusts plans as necessary.
• Collaborates with the finance team to ensure accurate financial planning and analysis.
• Builds and maintains strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and vendors.
•Manages a team to oversee the planning, execution, and completion of key projects and initiatives.
• Ensures the team delivers projects on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Guides the team in proactively identifying and mitigating project risks and challenges.
•Fosters a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging innovation and process optimization.
• Implements and utilizes performance metrics to drive accountability and measure success.
•Keepsabreastofindustrytrendsandbestpracticestomaintaintheorganization’scompetitiveedge.
• Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
• Translate business objectives into clear reporting and analytical requirements, ensuring timely delivery of accurate, consistent reports, dashboards, and insights.
• Define and refine key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure metrics effectively measure programme performance, including alignment to contractual requirements.
• Lead user acceptance testing (UAT) for dashboards and reporting solutions to ensure accuracy, usability, and business readiness.
• Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned. 

About you

EDUCATION & JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Management, or a related field (master’s degree preferred). Proven experience in a senior operational and strategic leadership role.
  • Experience in project management and process improvement.Proficiency with modern BI and data visualization tools, for example Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
  • Experience with VMS platforms like Fieldglass, Beeline, VNDLY, or others.
  • Minimum 6+ years of reporting and analytics experience, with demonstrated ability to translate business needs into analytical outputs

• Strong understanding of business operations, strategic planning, and financial management.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

The anticipated salary range for this position is between $100,000 and $120,000. Salary may be determined based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. This position participates in Pontoon’s incentive program which also includes bonus eligibility.

Benefit offerings for full-time employment include medical, dental, vision, term life and AD&D insurance, short-term and long-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, commuter benefits, wellness plans, and a 401k plan or a non-qualified deferred compensation plan. Available paid leave includes Personal Time Off (PTO) on an accrual basis up to 152 hours a year, 10 Paid Holidays, 1 Community Service Day, and up to 6 weeks of Paid Parental Leave. PTO and holiday hours are prorated based on hire date within the calendar year.
