About the role

The Virtual Sales Development Representative (SDR) is responsible for generating high-quality meetings for the National Accounts sales team by engaging the right decision-makers at targeted organizations. This role focuses on outbound digital prospecting using LinkedIn, email, and AI-enabled tools to identify, engage, and qualify buying personas with the goal of securing meetings that convert.

This position requires a disciplined, research-driven sales professional who understands national account structures, persona mapping, and enterprise buying dynamics. Success is measured not just by meetings booked, but by meeting attendance and conversion of quality.

What you’ll be doing

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
National Account Prospecting & Engagement
• Prospect and engage targeted national account organizations through LinkedIn outreach, email campaigns, and AI-assisted prospecting tools.
• Identify, research, and connect with the right decision-makers and influencers across complex buying committees.
• Execute personalized outreach strategies aligned to client industry, role, and staffing needs.
Persona Mapping & Lead Qualification
• Build and maintain persona maps for national accounts, identify key decision-makers, economic buyers, influencers, and end users.
• Qualify prospects based on authority, need, timing, and alignment with national account criteria.
• Ensure outreach and messaging are customized by persona, function, and buying stage.
Meeting Booking & Handoff
• Book qualified discovery meetings for the National Accounts sales team to progress into full sales cycles.
• Achieve and maintain a meeting attendance rate of 60% or higher.
• Provide complete, accurate opportunity notes and context in Salesforce to ensure a strong sales handoff.
• Support seamless coordination between prospects and sales leaders to maximize meeting effectiveness.
CRM & Sales Enablement
• Maintain accurate records of all prospecting activity, engagement, and outcomes in Salesforce.
• Track outreach performance, meeting attendance, and conversion metrics.
• Use Salesforce dashboards and AI insights to prioritize high-potential accounts and personas.
• Follow defined cadence and activity standards to drive consistent pipeline creation.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
• Experience supporting or selling into national or enterprise-level accounts required.
• Proven success as a BDR, SDR, or outbound sales role in a B2B environment.
• Strong understanding of complex buying environments and multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce CRM for lead and activity management.
• Proficiency in LinkedIn Sales Navigator, email outreach tools, and CRM-integrated sales tech.
• Experience working in a virtual or remote sales role preferred.

This position is nonexempt and will be paid on an hourly basis. The salary range below has been annualized based on a 40-hour workweek.

The anticipated annual base salary range for this position is $39,489- $72,397. Compensation varies based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, experience, education, key skills, and geographic location.  In addition to base salary, the position is also eligible for incentive compensation based on achievements outlined in the compensation plan.

Benefit offerings for full-time employment include medical, dental, vision, term life and AD&D insurance, short-term and long-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, commuter benefits, wellness plans, and a 401k plan or a non-qualified deferred compensation plan. Available paid leave includes Personal Time Off (PTO) on an accrual basis up to 152 hours a year, 10 Paid Holidays, 1 Community Service Day, and up to 6 weeks of Paid Parental Leave. PTO and holiday hours are prorated based on hire date within the calendar year.
