Finance Controllership Manager (Chief Accountant)

Adecco is looking for an experienced financial professional responsible for accurate financial reporting under Polish accounting principles and US GAAP, tax and regulatory compliance, and maintaining the accounting records of the Adecco companies in Poland.

The Controllership Manager will report to the CFO.

Key responsibilities:

·Accurate and timely financial reporting under Polish accounting principles and US GAAP.

·Accurate and timely tax and regulatory compliance (VAT, corporate tax, statistical reports, withholding tax, transfer pricing, etc.).

·Responsible for signing tax and statutory declarations.

·Maintenance of the accounting records of the Adecco companies in Poland in accordance with Polish accounting principles and US GAAP, and following TAG policies and procedures.

·Coordination of activities of the shared service center and external tax advisors.

·Timely completion of the annual statutory audits.

·Execution and management of financial processes and TAG requirements, including treasury and payments.

·Collaboration with the CFO and other stakeholders to improve and automate financial operations.

·Contact with tax and regulatory authorities, auditors, and banks.

·Team management.

·Performance of related tasks and projects as required by the CFO.

Requirements:

·University graduate with Masters in Finance, or Accounting, or other relevant subjects.

·Above 10 years’ professional experience and at least 3 years in a similar role.

·Strong expertise in Polish accounting and tax regulations, as well as good US GAAP knowledge.

·Excellent language skills in Polish and English (both oral and written).

·Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems (preferably MSD).

·Track record of working in international business environment and collaborating effectively with shared service center.

·Take ownership of tasks, and ensure proper and timely delivery.

·Cultivate a proactive and collaborative approach with other team members, as well as with our business partners.

·Be attentive to detail and maintain good communication with other team members, as well as our business partners.
