Mission

As a Senior RTR Accountant at TAG Finance Shared Services Center, your mission is to maintain the accuracy, integrity, and transparency of financial records. You will play a crucial role as a key partner to the In-Country Local Finance Lead / Local Finance Team

Individual responsibilities

Your responsibilities include maintaining comprehensive and accurate records, preparing journal entries, reconciling data across financial systems, and supporting accounting and period-end close processes. This encompasses A2R (Acquire to Retire) and Intercompany Accounting processes. 

You will be responsible for daily accounting tasks, month-end closes, and performing both daily and monthly account reconciliations.

Financial Reporting: Prepare and review financial statements to ensure they comply with USGAAP & Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS)

General Ledger Management: Oversee the general ledger, ensuring all entries are accurate and reconciled

Compliance: Ensure compliance with local statutory requirements, including GST, TDS, and other tax regulations

Month-End and Year-End Close: Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring all financial data is accurately reported and deadlines are met

Account Reconciliations: Perform and review account reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of financial data

Audit Support: Assist in both internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations

Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the R2R function

Key Shared Responsibilities

Stakeholder Collaboration: Ensure close coordination of activities and maintain a strong working relationship with Country Finance Leads and Local Finance Teams.

Project Support: Support ad-hoc projects and initiatives within FinOPs

Compliance Knowledge: Ensuring compliance with local and international regulations, including tax laws and corporate governance, with a strong emphasis on controls.

Education

Bachelor Degree in Finance & Accounting or MBA or CMA or CA Inter

Language Skills

Fluent English

Tools

MS Excel, MS Word and Outlook ,

Microsoft Dynamic (preferred)
