About the role

Mission:

  • Adecco Group ITD is in the process of maturing how we work with vendors to ensure successful execution of our business and ITD strategy.
  • The ITD Vendor management function will be pivotal to develop, own and lead multi-year strategic Vendor management, linking business strategy, ITD strategy and execution to optimize strategic Vendor relationship and deliverables.
  • The ITD Vendor Manager will contribute to shape and maintain a solid Vendor relationship management, based on common value and benefit creation, measured by long terms delivery KPIs and increased value for money.
  • Be the primary point of contact for Vendors, and actively work as both “challenger” and mediator for strategic disputes around performance, cost and relationships.
  • Manage, via clear and transparent governance, supplier performance and the services reviews and ensure their contractual obligations are met and solution are pursued.
What you’ll be doing

Accountabilities:

  • Implement the end-to-end Vendor Management strategic framework.
  • Develop partnership with strategic Vendors; ensure their understanding of the ITD Strategy and provide guidance for their contribution to the ITD Strategy.
  • Monitor performance and delivery of strategic vendors.
  • Manage governance cycles, performance measurement and communication with Partners and Vendors
  • Understand the ITD Strategy, the value contribution of Vendor management and contribute to its realisation.
  • Work with Procurement or any matter related to sourcing with the Vendors.
  • Adhere to Adecco Group policies, processes and guidelines.
  • Represent Adecco Group ITD in ongoing interactions with ITD Vendors.

Main tasks & responsibilities

  • Execute on the Vendor management framework.
  • Run periodic Vendor assessments and satisfaction surveys for the managed Vendors.
  • Maintain executive reporting and drive executive meetings for selected managed Vendors.
  • Drive tactical meetings and day to day relationship with managed Vendors and internal stakeholders.
  • Act as the Adecco Group primary point of contact with Vendors in relation to issues and disputes.
  • Facilitate dispute mediation arising from operational, tactic or strategic topics in close collaboration with procurement, ITD, and support functions like legal.
  • Contribute to the delivery of the ITD Strategy for what concerns Vendors.
About you
  • At least 8 years of experience within IT Vendor management, procurement, contracting and/or strategic IT sourcing.
  • Good knowledge of best practice Vendor management and IT sourcing processes.
  • Proven capability of managing multiple priorities effectively and performing under tight deadlines.
  • Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization (including executive management).
  • Experience successfully working with distributed teams.

Education:

  • Master’s degree with focus on commercial law and or IT.

Travel Requirement: Occasional (up to 20%)
