EEMENA01052The Head of DevOps, Web Platforms & Integration Support is a senior IT leader accountable for the strategy, resilience, and continuous improvement of Digital, Web Platform, and Integration services across the global Application Management & Support (AMS) landscape.
The role ensures reliable, secure, and scalable platform and application support capabilities while driving a fundamental shift from reactive operations to proactive, predictive, and preventive IT. As a key member of the AMS leadership team, this position plays a pivotal role in standardization, operational excellence, vendor governance, and enabling business outcomes across global IT operations.
What you’ll be doingStrategy & Leadership
- Define and execute the AMS strategy for Digital , Web Platforms, and Integration support services.
- Act as a core member of the AMS Leadership Team, contributing to overall IT operations and transformation strategy.
- Lead, inspire, and develop global L2/L3 support teams across internal and external delivery models.
- Drive a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Service Excellence & Operations
- Accountable for service availability, stability, performance, and security of web platforms and integrations.
- Own SLAs, KPIs, and operational performance across all in-scope services.
- Implement proactive, predictive, and preventive operations through monitoring, observability, and analytics.
- Identify systemic issues and trends, preventing incidents before business impact.
Transformation & Continuous Improvement
- Drive DevOps maturity, automation, and continuous delivery improvements.
- Implement shift-left strategies, self-service capabilities, and operational standardisation.
- Lead onboarding, transition, and migration of applications into the AMS support model.
- Reduce operational risk, technical debt, and manual effort through standardisation and automation.
Vendor & Financial Management
- Manage strategic relationships with outsourcing partners and technology vendors.
- Ensure vendor performance, SLA/KPI adherence, and continuous improvement commitments.
- Support contract negotiations, renewals, and performance reviews.
- Own budget planning, cost optimisation, billing accuracy, and chargeback processes, eliminating inefficiencies.
Stakeholder & Cross‑Functional Collaboration
- Act as a senior point of contact for business stakeholders and IT leadership.
- Collaborate closely with Architecture, Service Management, Security, and global IT teams.
- Translate business needs into operational capabilities and measurable outcomes
- 10+ years of experience in senior IT leadership roles across Application Support, IT Operations, DevOps, or Platform Services.
- Proven track record leading global teams and large‑scale operational or DevOps transformations.
- Strong experience in ITIL‑driven environments combined with Agile and DevOps ways of working.
- Demonstrated experience managing complex vendor ecosystems and outsourced delivery models.
- Clear evidence of delivering measurable operational and business outcomes at scale.
- Executive‑level leadership and stakeholder management.
- Strong communication, influencing, and decision‑making skills.
- Strategic and analytical thinking with a focus on outcomes.
- Ability to operate in complex, high‑pressure global environments.
- Cross‑cultural leadership and collaboration.
- ITIL v4 certification (preferred).
