About the role

As Head of Sales, you will lead the development and execution of Adecco Sweden’s national sales strategy, aligned with the Adecco GBU priorities. Your mission is to drive sustainable, profitable growth across strategic and large accounts, while positioning Adecco as a trusted partner in workforce solutions.

What you’ll be doing

Sales Strategy & Execution

  • Design and implement a comprehensive sales strategy, including product mix optimization and market segmentation.
  • Identify, develop, and nurture strategic prospects and existing clients to build long-term partnerships and maximize cross-selling opportunities.
  • Oversee sales performance through robust pipeline management, forecasting accuracy, and reporting.
  • Monitor and drive sales activity (client visits, proposals, acquisition of new accounts), ensuring consistent achievement of KPIs.
  • Define and enforce pricing strategies to maintain competitiveness and profitability.
  • Represent Adecco Sweden at key industry events, conferences, and associations to elevate brand visibility and thought leadership.

Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead, inspire, and manage the national sales team to achieve high performance and productivity.
  • Own the development and upskilling of the sales organization, supporting the country’s annual learning and development plan.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and year-end appraisals based on clearly defined KPIs, targets, and competencies.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

  • Year-over-year gross margin growth
  • Acquisition of new clients and expansion of existing accounts
  • Growth in client base and retention
  • Achievement of sales KPIs across the team
  • Improved sales efficiency and productivity
About you

Required Experience & Education:

  • Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in sales leadership, preferably within the staffing, HR services, or B2B service industries.
  • Proven track record of leading high-performing sales teams and delivering consistent revenue growth.
  • Experience managing large and strategic accounts, with strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • Familiarity with Swedish market dynamics and customer expectations is highly desirable.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field. A Master’s degree or MBA is a strong advantage.

  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and commercial acumen.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to lead change, drive innovation, and foster a performance-driven culture.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and data-driven sales management.
  • Fluent in Swedish and English (written and spoken).
