SDR Onboarding & Enablement Specialist. 

Job Description:

The SDR Onboarding and Enablement Specialist is responsible for delivering comprehensive onboarding programs for new Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) across LHH business line to decrease ramp time and enhance productivity. This role plays a critical part in ensuring continuous development and improvement of the SDR team’s skills and performance.

Reports: None, reports into Global SDR Enablement Manager

Location: RemoteUK&I, Europe 

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Onboarding:
    • Maintain, improve, & deliver a scalable and consistent structured onboarding program for new SDRs to ensure a smooth transition into their roles.
    • Conduct & coordinate training sessions covering essential topics such as company overview, product knowledge, sales processes, and tool usage.
    • Monitor and evaluate the progress of new SDRs during their onboarding period, providing feedback and support as needed.
  2. Weekly Enablement Sessions:
    • Plan and conduct weekly enablement sessions focused on enhancing SDR skills and knowledge.
    • Cover a range of topics, including prospecting techniques, objection handling, product updates, and industry trends.
    • Use various training methods, including role-playing, workshops, and guest speakers, to keep sessions engaging and effective.
  3. Content Development:
    • Create and maintain up-to-date training materials, including presentations, manuals, and video tutorials.
    • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to ensure training content aligns with current brand, messaging and product features.
    • Develop and distribute resources that SDRs can use in their daily activities, such as call scripts and email templates.
  4. Performance Monitoring and Feedback:
    • Track and analyze the performance of new SDRs to identify areas for improvement and adjust the onboarding program accordingly.
    • Collect feedback from SDRs and sales managers to continuously improve the onboarding and enablement programs.
    • Provide regular reports to senior management on the effectiveness of the onboarding and enablement initiatives.
  5. Collaboration and Communication:
    • Proactively work closely with sales communityto understand the needs and challenges in the field to be able to incorporate into SDR enablement activities.
    • Collaborate with other departments, including marketing, product, and HR, to ensure alignment and support for onboarding and enablement efforts.
    • Communicate updates, best practices, and new training initiatives to the SDR team effectively.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Training and Development: Proven experience in designing and delivering training programs, particularly for sales teams. Familiar with different LMS such as Lessonly, Learnupon, etc.
  • Sales Knowledge: Strong understanding of sales processes, techniques, and best practices, specifically for SDR roles.
  • Content Creation: Ability to create engaging and informative training materials.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze performance data and adjust training programs based on insights.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective training and collaboration.
  • Project Management: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple training initiatives and deadlines.

Typical Background:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience: Previous experience as an SDR or in a sales, sales training, or sales enablement role, preferably with experience in onboarding new hires.

The SDR Onboarding and Enablement Specialist is crucial for ensuring new SDRs are quickly ramped up and continuously developing their skills, leading to improved performance and faster achievement of sales targets. Candidates with a strong background in sales training, excellent communication skills, and a passion for developing others will excel in this role.
